A single star by was accidently sent online directly to the chain. It should have been a FOUR star. My only complaint was that hot breakfast on the steam tables were the same every day, sausage and scrambled eggs, but the dry cereals, the yogurt, and the juice covered my breakfast need. A pot of fresh oatmeal each day would have been nice, but overall the breakfast area was clean and had comfortable seating.

The hotel needs modernizing and updating. The room was quiet. The breakfast food was limited and not appealing. The pool area was not clean and the water was not clear. The beds and pillows were ok to sleep on. The bathroom could have been cleaner.

This hotel was recommended to me by a local business. They obviously had not visited recently. The carpets and walls need renovation. It was difficult to negotiate luggage into the one and only elevator. Rooms were clean and tidy, greatly in need of renovation. Breakfast was basic and same each day.

Nita was the best, I stopped in to get some shipping paperwork printed and Nita helped me without even being a guest. The place is spotless. I will definitely be staying here next time. I would recommend AmericInn to anyone in the area!! Thanks AmericaInn and Nita!!!! 5 stars!!!

We spent two nights. We went to a play at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater and then the UM Arboretum. The hotel is close to each. It is also surrounded by other shops and restaurants within walking distance. We had the jacuzzi room. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant stay.

I made a verbal reservation (meaning I actually spoke to a live person) through Windham. However, the desk clerk at AmericInn did not honor the reservation, and claimed it wasn't their "problem". He also claimed that their hotel did not have any rooms available,,, UNTIL my husband entered the lobby to inquire if there was a problem. Then a room became available. Additionally, I have inquired about additional unexplained charges on my credit card and have not received a return phone call from the manager at the AmericInn in Chanhassen, MN.

We were here from out of town to attend the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. This was a great place to stay for its proximity and at a good price. The place was easy to get to and it was very quiet there during our stay. The breakfast is one of the better ones we have experienced in our travels. The staff was quick to help us when the TV had a problem. Would recommend this location to anyone regardless of the reason for staying.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was updated, clean and very comfortable. The beds were wonderful. Breakfast was good and breakfast room very clean. Parking area felt safe. Lobby was inviting and clean with coffee And tea available. We would definitely stay here again.
