I took my kids to Changsha during the winter vacation and booked the newly opened Four Points by Sheraton Changsha, which is 7 subway stops from the city center. It has a good price-performance ratio. The double bed was in short supply during the Chinese New Year, but fortunately it was off-peak and I was able to book it. I heard from the hotel that it was almost impossible to book a double bed during the Chinese New Year. I upgraded the room on the 17th floor facing Central South University, which had a good view. By the way, I took the kids on a one-day tour of a 211 university. There is a food street downstairs. In short, it is convenient for food, accommodation and transportation. It is the king of price-performance ratio for a humanistic city vacation. I had Hunan rice noodles for breakfast. I went there off-peak or I would have to queue up for freshly made noodles. It is worth visiting again!
