Travelodge by Wyndham Chambersburg

Nice place to spend a couple of days. Clean rooms, friendly staff.

I chose this as it was convenient to where I was going. I was impressed with the overall great condition of this 1970s era motel. The rooms were very clean and the furniture comfortable. There is no dining room attached but an Arby's a couple of doors east and a pizza place across US-30. Note that I did not rate "Sleep Quality" as I do NOT sleep very well so any rating would really be meaningless to anyone else.

The Wyndham made my journey better than ever . i got the best hotel . the hospitality was amazing. food was very good. hygiene was top notch . if you are a comfort person like me you should go for this without even thinking. Overall Experience was damn good .

The hotel staff member was friendly and very accommodating. It’s an older hotel which is decently maintained and clean. The bathroom, while clean, needs updating. It would be more convenient if breakfast was included. I would stay there again as it is on my route from Gettysburg to the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Any accomodation near to Gettysburg is more expensive than normal (as far as I can see). I chose this hotel because it is a well know brand in the UK that is basic but clean and reliable. Bedding : blanket had bits that appeared to be cut out. Tired looking room not up to Travelodge UK standards. Worst thing at 4:30 pm the clerk would not open the door for us to check in, he asked for my credit card so foolishly I gave it to him. After a while he called me in, he asked me to enter my pin, the machine said it was my last attempt! So this ****** had been trying to guess my pin!!!!! I guess this brand may have no connection with the UK brand but I will not use the US Travelodges in the future. The charging was OK, but the method was far too suspect for my liking.

It was quite adequate and decently priced. Room was clean and comfortable. If there was a breakfast buffet, we skipped it. The reception room had a payment drawer behind Plexiglas, which was a bit off-putting.

Desk clerk greeted us behind bullet proof plexiglass and took payment card through payment drawer. Looked over room. The springs on the bed sqeeked. Room was neat but dingie. Decided to leave and find an other place elsewhere.

The room was clean; everything worked properly, despite it being a dated property, nothing was in disrepair. Parking courtyard and the exteriors need updating, but the rooms looked recently touched up and everything was where it should be and worked. All was clean. Front desk was little more than a window slot. Not particularly friendly, but never rude or anything. Apathetic but non-hostile? Served its purpose and did that part well
