das Restaurant hatte geschlossen. das erste Zimmer war sehr dunkel. es hatte nur Holztüren nach vorne, ohne Glas. d.h. wenn man es wegen Licht geöffnet hätte, wäre sofort die Hitze hereingekommen. wenn wenig Gäste da sind, gibt’s Frühstück im Plastikgefäss per catering angeliefert. Qualität mangelhaft. gibt es mal Frühstücksbuffet, sind die Gefäße nicht gewärmt, d.h. das Rührei ist nur die ersten 5 Minuten warm. kaum Auswahl. nur Pulverkaffe. wir hatten vom Boot selbst Butter und Marmelade und Teebeutel dabei, damit ging’s.
Ich beschwerte mich wegen des Zimmers, welches ganz unten ohne Blick auf Pool war. Wir bekamen ein kostenloses Upgrade auf eine Suite mit Blick auf Pool. Der Pool ist ein Thema für sich: groß und tief, aber Skimmer kaputt, also keine Reinigung der Oberfläche. Wasserzufuhr aber vorhanden.
Das neue Zimmer war dann schön. aber zwei Stühle und ein kleines Tischen für PC Arbeit musste ich extra bestellen. es fehlte jeglicher Mülleimer. Zimmerservice sollte man beim Schlüsselabgeben „auslösen“. sonst wirds vergessen. Aber die Nähe zu Peakes war natürlich unbezahlbar. Karibik eben…😉

The hotel is old and dated, However it seems as though it’s on the verge of closing down. At check in I asked for a clean room because I was carrying an infant. However the room wasn’t clean and the sheets look as though it wasn’t change with hair and many stains. Above all room entrance were leaking air conditioners and many cats 🐈 screaming at you outside your room. The tv, microwave and refrigerator did not work. The adjoining door was poorly built you can hear everything on the other side. The breakfast was a cold hard toast you had to pick up in a take away box and it was horrible. The pool was the only great thing except it was filthy. And no staffs and attendant for anything. Not even a phone 📞 in the bedroom. The beds were horrible.

The staff were unhelpful. The rooms are hard to fin and the staff do noit guide you. They gave me a room with two enormous air conditioners outside - very noisy - so I complained and was given a quieter one b ut it required a lot of too and fro. Dinner such as it was, was pretty appalling and inflxible. You had to give a deposit for the aircon remote which says a lot about their clientele. Huge amounts of form filling at reception. Breakfast almost a bad as dinner - no choice at all. instant coffee and a tea bag and a kettle. Overall got the impression the staff did not care at all.

Staff were helpful in finding a ride to the Fast Ferry at (!) 4:30 am.
Excellent AC.
Only downside was the loud grass-trimmer just outside. At first I thought: no TP!, but it was behind me..
