Radisson is likely a renovated hotel as there are spots required further maintenance such as the swollen floor, ice-defrosted refrigerator. Moreover, staff services should be more focused especially those in the egg station during breakfast service. They showed some facial expressions when we ordered scrambled eggs, egg Benedict.
Rather than those issues, this hotel is located in the nice location. We can either go to Hua Hin or Cha-am in a very short time.

The Chinese Restaurant Fu Lue Woman Manager- Som for no apparent reason has been very unprofessionally rude, repugnant and impertinent to me! Not once but every visit of mine is met with such obnoxious attitude. She would tell me that they are very busy and the food would take more than an hour and a half to serve even though the restaurant is not even half full! Whatever I order from the menu she would tell me it’s finished including desserts but then I see others ordering it and it’s being served to them. Also, I have not finished my order she would pretend to assume I have finished ordering and walked away! She would pursed her lips, give me a contemptuous glare and make a “tsk” sound with her tongue when I continued ordering! No one can fathom what kind of service staff would be so vicious and vile in service like Som! She’s a total disgrace to both the hospitality and service industry! Definitely NOT an asset but a TOTAL LIABILITY to the organisation that chose to hire her. One rotten egg spoils the entire basket! I don’t recommend this Chinese Restaurant.

This hotel is one to avoid. We made the mistake of booking for a week. The photos on all the sites looked good. Its a shame most were from other hotels in the same group. Family friendly was in the description. Well if set amoungst adult bars, in a seedy street is ok, then mayby it is. The rooms smelt of sewerage, the pipes banged if someoneflushed a toilet upstairs, the pool was cleaned once during our sray, covid safe cleaning is nil, the rooms are dark, dirty and mouldy. The Hotel management are rude and only worried about getting your money.. Breakfast is in another hotel which you have to walk to. It is poor, not worth the walk. If you want something different besides the 2 choices you get, it costs. You can't even swap a coffeefora hot chocolate forchildren without paying extra. There is no kettle in the room. You are expected to go to reception and buy a ciffee fir 20 baht, but you have to make it in a 150ml papercup. In 20 plus years of Thailand travel, this is by far the worst I have seen.

Hotel with very exposed sea view on some floors. Ample sitting areas with sofas and seats about the hotel.
However breakfast was vastly disappointing with no information on type of dishes and staff were rather slight arrogant.

Hotel was very nice and cosy, especially the pool side is great. We had our room at pool side which has nice view and sunshine also to own balcony. Cleaniness in the rooms is very good, cleaning in daily basis. Though, pidgeons everywhere does their duty on the balcony and elsewhere which is a bit unconfortable. Restaurant(s) and bar(s) are good, of course just a bit more pricy than on the street, but comfortable. Breakfast is very rich, though some products were our frequently, like juices. Location just a few meters from beach is great and all possible shops and great selection of restaurants all over. We liked a lot of this hotel and really can come back again!

Tara Mantra, a hotel dedicated to the decline and wants to be well presented. The difficult times of Corona are unquestionable, but then you should be happy about every solving customer and roll the red tape symbolically. But not in this hotel. You have as a non-Thai speaking guest on the whole line Lost,it always gets the feeling of being disgusting and questions cannot be answered because of language barriers. As we have been guests again and again in Tara Mantra for years,I could experience the breakdown of this hotel even closer. The rooms are smooth, not really maintained, the bathroom I don't want to describe it more. The breakfast was slightly more slightly from year to year until it became a disaster today. The breakfast room has now closed for a few days since only 3Zimmer is located in this hotel. Therefore we were instructed to take the next few days of breakfast on to order the room.Isn't it a problem in principle if I have the opportunity to breakfast comfortable in this room, and not like a monkey on the couch must take my breakfast to me.Maybe that I overtake in the sense, But that's not worth 4 stars. Damn, but this hotel has lost 2Stammgcast,but I don't think the staff will not realize that.

GGuest UserOur stay at Baba Beach Club Hua Hin was a harmonious fusion of modern elegance, gastronomic excellence, and tranquil natural beauty. Set amidst lush greenery, this chic beachside retreat offered luxurious amenities and thoughtful touches that elevated our romantic getaway. The Baba Grand Corner Suite (Suite number 3411 – located on the 11th floor) served as our luxurious haven, featuring an expansive 90 degree balcony with day beds that provided the perfect spot to unwind and admire the stunning sunset views. The suite's contemporary design, complemented by innovative lighting, created a romantic ambiance that resonated throughout our stay. We also noticed that the fittings and furnishings and all the materials used in the room and bathroom were of high quality. The large bathroom with soak-in tub, shower and the separate automatic toilet system were also appreciated. All-in-all the technologies used scream modernity and sophistication. Each evening, the meticulous turn-down service welcomed us back to a serene atmosphere, setting the stage for relaxation and rejuvenation as we tucked ourselves into a very comfortable medium hard bed with plush linens. The complimentary minibar, stocked with our favorite refreshments including some typical Thai snacks and drinks added an extra layer of comfort and convenience to our experience. Our culinary journey at Soul Food, the resort's main restaurant, was nothing short of exceptional. We savored the Moo Hong (pork) dish and wok-style Phad Sew noodle dish, both masterfully prepared and served in a modern, chic setting that seamlessly blended with the resort's lush surroundings. The breakfast experience was a delightful highlight, offering a diverse array of Asian and Western options to tantalize our taste buds each morning. The banana pancake live station stole the show, serving up fluffy, delicious pancakes that became an instant favorite. This variety ensured that every breakfast was a culinary adventure, setting a positive tone for each day of our stay. Speaking of surroundings, the lush greenery enveloping the resort added a sense of tranquility and connection to nature, enhancing our overall experience. Everywhere we explored, vibrant foliage and carefully landscaped gardens provided a serene backdrop, creating an immersive and rejuvenating environment. We were also lucky to have the chance to try their Spa. The experience was a rejuvenating highlight of our stay, with a 60-minute massage enhanced by a unique scented ”Asian Blend” oil which had a pleasantly unique aroma to say the least. The skilled therapists and tranquil ambiance of the spa created a serene environment, allowing us to unwind and reconnect amidst the soothing aromas and expert touch. A standout aspect of our stay was the highly attentive and service-oriented staff, led by individuals like Khun Fern and Khun Yok. Their warm hospitality and meticulous attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our experience exceeded expe
JJana KThe room that me and other 2 members of the family got had enough space for 3 people, even though the third bed was added there additionally. There was big couch/place to sit/play in the middle of room. We used it for our suitcases, which was very convenient for us. Another good thing is that there is one sink in the bathroom, and another sink in the room. So bye-bye long line for the bathroom!
MMJ98First impressions: The hotel appears small from the front but stretches back quite far. It is noticeable that there is not much parking and I am not sure what accommodations they make in busier times of the year, however, it wasn't a problem for us on the day we stayed there. The staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived and we were well received by the staff who spoke good English and explained everything that we needed to know. Heading upstairs and seeing the restaurant and the swimming pools we were surprised by the size of the place, given the small frontage. There are multiple swimming pools located near each cluster of rooms so they're not always too full of people and there's plenty of space to relax in the pool and swim. The restaurant may appear small but breakfast times are split and you tell the staff when you arrive when you'd like breakfast so you'll be guaranteed space in the morning.
The Room: We chose the seaview room with a jacuzzi. The room had a nice view of the sea and the bed was very big and comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the size of the bathroom. The hotel provides slippers, dressing gowns and flip flops which all came in really handy. Additionally, items on the mini bar were complimentary which was a nice touch. The jacuzzi was also a nice addition but one complaint about the room is that not all of the controls worked for us. Also we found that the lighting in the room was a little strange and most of the lights were controlled by a large panel of switches next to the bed which was not very practical. Other than this the room was immaculately clean and the design was very nice.
The location: The hotel is not too far from the main road which makes it quite easily accessible by car. It is located on a road which does not have much else so it's appropriate for taking a relaxing walk, however if you want to find a shop you need to drive. We went to Cha Am town centre in the evening for the night market. It was very close by (by car) and had lots of options for food. The hotel also offers food in the evening, but there isn't anything else within walking distance.
GGuest UserWhile it might not be the newest or most attractive hotel in this part of north Cha-Am beach, it offers pretty good value for money. In many ways it sums up the whole area, which has become a little worn and jaded but is clinging on to some hope that things might improve. The good The swimming pool is a decent size and seemed to be fairly popular from morning till evening. There are tables and loungers around the pool so it's a good place to relax and take a dip. The sea isn't too inviting, especially with the jet-skis, banana boats, and never ending rows of umbrellas and tables to eat on which simply make the beach a plastic paradise, so it's definitely your best option if you want to cool off and avoid stepping on plastic bottles. The room we had, a deluxe sea view on the 18th floor, was spacious with a small balcony overlooking the sea. There was a chaise longue which acted as a bed for one of the children we had, and the hotel was happy to provide extra towels and pillows. We booked for 4 but as usual they only provide for 2, but asking for extra stuff is fine. I can't comment on the other rooms as we didn't see or visit any. The decor is a bit faded but we thought it was fine for what you pay. Breakfast was fairly decent, really. Good selection of Thai dishes, mini croissants, banana cakes, and an egg station, which is always welcome. A decent coffee machine would be a huge bonus as there didn't seem to be anywhere you could get a decent one without walking out of the hotel and down the street. The not so good This is a BIG hotel. If you suffer from vertigo, then the lifts could be a problem as they have a glass back facing into the open atrium, which actually stretches from the ground floor all the way up to the roof, 21 floors above. If anyone suffers from a fear of heights then ask to use the service lift, which is a properly enclosed one. I don't think the staff would mind at all. And because it's so big, so much of the space seemed to be empty of any activity. The reception area is quite pleasant but there seemed to be three restaurants, which, except for breakfast which moved from one place to another in the few days we were there, never had anyone in them. I didn't really worry if they were open or not as we wanted to eat meals outside anyway, but it did seem to add to the rather forlorn aspect of the rest of Cha-Am. Overall, we thought it was fine for what we paid and it's in a great location, close to the beach and a range of eating places up and down the main street.
GGuest UserExcellent hotel for the beach. The breakfast is very good just ask the staff for eggs cooked the way you like. The room was very spacious and excellently clean. and we booked a pool room and you just opened the room door on to the terrace and stepped in to the pool. Very impressed The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. They could not do enough for us. We will definitely come back to this hotel The management should be very proud of their staff they were wonderful The manager was unbelievably kind as well and a lovely person
GGuest UserThis hotel is not exactly smack in the middle of Cha-am nor Hua Hin. However, it is a true retreat by itself. Like an oasis that pops in the middle of the rural landscape just north of Cha-am, the weekend here was a bustle of activities. Very popular with families with kids. There were so many kids here filling up the main and kids’ pool on Saturday. As the weekend ended, on the late afternoon of Sunday and a good half of Monday, the resort turned peaceful. Finally, there was more water then Children. The kiddy pool has a large air-filled dome sprouting water sky high. Both kids and adults were having fun climbing up and sliding down the feature. In the main pool, they have a permanent floating obstacle course called a Wibit. It was enjoyable watching people, including children, crash and fall into the water as they attempted to complete the course. So Sofitel Hua Hin is just filled to the brim with amenities. They have a kids’ club, a mini golf full of mythical figurines and a cycling track. One can ride their complementary bicycle, or have children rent their mini mopeds, scooters and other toy-ish vehicles. They have a games room (but it was hot), a mini tennis court and a bigger one that doubles as a basketball court. 4 pools in total on this land parcel perpendicular to the sea. The one near the beachfront has a jacuzzi, and there is yet another one in front of the gym. A beach restaurant fringes the not so friendly ocean. The sea was rough and murky. The water came up the break wall that prevents the garden from spilling into the sea. There is a mini sand beach with a few deck chairs, but it wasn’t much of a beach. Breakfast and dinner, we had them in their main restaurant called White Oven. It was really an oven, the air-conditioning needs some work. Otherwise it was pleasing to sit outdoors in the light morning breeze. The breakfast was extensive, a good wide mix of local and western dishes. Moo Ping (pork satays morning version) was superbly tasty and tender. The gravy for Kanom Jin (Thai rice noodle) was of a good rich density. There was also ice cream served in the buffet. However, the chicken rice was off, and their Pla Tong Kor (dough fritters) was a failure in texture and in taste. For the two mornings I had them, I do not know if it was just me, they had a strong hint of something medical. The room we had was So Family that has two bunk beds tucked into the side behind the master bed. The room was a whopping 60 square meters and was intensely decorated. If you live in a condominium, you will wish your studio is as trendy as this. The bathroom is massive. I love the floor to ceiling shower best. They have push buttons to turn on the water. There is one that produce moderate rain, another for heavy rain, and I was looking for the third that produce hurricane. It is not available. Everywhere in the room, there are mini statues of rabbits. One is beside the loo looking at me doing my business. When my daughter was taking too l
GGuest UserReturning yet again, have been staying here for over 10 years, missed 2021 due to COVID19 regulations. Very spacious hotel in a beautiful setting, perhaps slightly worn around the edges but the pool and gardens are immaculately kept. Spacious room overlooking the pool and beach. The entrance lobby is stunning with seating areas to relax. The village nearby is struggling since covid and we try and patronise it as much as we can. The local family run restaurants serve traditional Thai cuisine at extremely reasonable prices. The hotel is also conveniently located for Hua Hin and Cha Am easily accessible by taxi. We will definitely return.
Mmunoymeenoypositive: *near the beach *have free parking Room: *Our Deluxe room smell so bad like pee(same like in their first floor, full of pee smell) *The staff mistakenly put extra bed in one of our room(superior). And they just went in to the room WITHOUT let us know at all. When we asked whether anybody go inside and told them that went to guest room directly without prior notice is very rude and impolite. The reception only mention that they already knocked but no one answers. Therefore, they go inside by themselves. We told them we very mind regarding this matter. They still said that we dont need to worry, because they only issued one room card, other guest wont be go inside. The MAIN POINT is THE STAFF WENT INSIDE ROOM WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE and TOOK SOMETHING *Superior room also not clean correctly and have leftover garbage from previous guest *the pillow is hard and too high not comfortable for sleep *they night lamp broken one(deluxe) *not provide toothbrush for amenities. *their shower water so small and not stable, took so long for take a bath due to the water volume. Breakfast : *for the breakfast, they let us choose what time we will have. (choose every half hour since 07:00-09:00, they have very limited space for it, and indoor space was so hot). *Not much choice for breakfast *They let us wait so long just because the staff was discussing whether to collect more money from us for 2yo kid overall : *Not worth for the rate paid (usually we got much better room, amenities and service with this price in Huahin or Pattaya) *Definitely will NOT COME BACK AGAIN *NOT RECOMMENDED
DdianaaG1668MSIt's located in an area mainly for Thai tourists, no foreigner families. There is no public transportation, tuktuks, taxis or anything around. If you want a taxi need to order it. The beach was with high tide during the day because of full moon, so we couldn't bathe. The restaurants around are at least 1 km away or the local option is to go to a thai shop on the beach with alive seafood and they cook it on the spot. Not for our kids. The lady in the reception is Thai, she is nice but no English at all. They cleaned our room the third day. The room was clean and spacious but no windows to open through the night, so we had the AC in high temperature all night. Not what we prefer.
DDamoJenksThe hotel was easy to find, closer to the beach than I thought when booking. Some nice places to eat nearby. Caution when swimming! There is a white wall in the pool, it’s not easy to see when you are in the water. It separates a section of the pool and the wall is not marked. Around 8-10 inches below the water surface, no markings and I swam right into it. The pool chemicals were extremely high, very strong and hurts your eyes when swimming under water.
Staff were pleasant, checkin was quick and someone showed me directly to my room. Extra money for a pool side room seemed hardly worth it. Disturbed easily by kids playing in the pool at 7am.
