The Chinese Restaurant Fu Lue Woman Manager- Som for no apparent reason has been very unprofessionally rude, repugnant and impertinent to me! Not once but every visit of mine is met with such obnoxious attitude. She would tell me that they are very busy and the food would take more than an hour and a half to serve even though the restaurant is not even half full! Whatever I order from the menu she would tell me it’s finished including desserts but then I see others ordering it and it’s being served to them. Also, I have not finished my order she would pretend to assume I have finished ordering and walked away! She would pursed her lips, give me a contemptuous glare and make a “tsk” sound with her tongue when I continued ordering! No one can fathom what kind of service staff would be so vicious and vile in service like Som! She’s a total disgrace to both the hospitality and service industry! Definitely NOT an asset but a TOTAL LIABILITY to the organisation that chose to hire her. One rotten egg spoils the entire basket! I don’t recommend this Chinese Restaurant.

This hotel is one to avoid. We made the mistake of booking for a week. The photos on all the sites looked good. Its a shame most were from other hotels in the same group. Family friendly was in the description. Well if set amoungst adult bars, in a seedy street is ok, then mayby it is. The rooms smelt of sewerage, the pipes banged if someoneflushed a toilet upstairs, the pool was cleaned once during our sray, covid safe cleaning is nil, the rooms are dark, dirty and mouldy. The Hotel management are rude and only worried about getting your money.. Breakfast is in another hotel which you have to walk to. It is poor, not worth the walk. If you want something different besides the 2 choices you get, it costs. You can't even swap a coffeefora hot chocolate forchildren without paying extra. There is no kettle in the room. You are expected to go to reception and buy a ciffee fir 20 baht, but you have to make it in a 150ml papercup. In 20 plus years of Thailand travel, this is by far the worst I have seen.

Hotel with very exposed sea view on some floors. Ample sitting areas with sofas and seats about the hotel.
However breakfast was vastly disappointing with no information on type of dishes and staff were rather slight arrogant.

Excellent hotel for the beach. The breakfast is very good just ask the staff for eggs cooked the way you like. The room was very spacious and excellently clean. and we booked a pool room and you just opened the room door on to the terrace and stepped in to the pool. Very impressed The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. They could not do enough for us. While it might not be the newest or most attractive hotel in this part of north Cha-Am beach, it offers pretty good value for money. In many ways it sums up the whole area, which has become a little worn and jaded but is clinging on to some hope that things might improve. The good The swimming pool is a decent size and seemed to be fairly popular from morning till evening. There are tables and loungers around the pool so it's a good place to relax and take a dip. The sea isn't too inviting, especially with the jet-skis, banana boats, and never ending rows of umbrellas and tables to eat on which simply make the beach a plastic paradise, so it's definitely your best option if you want to cool off and avoid stepping on plastic bottles. The room we had, a deluxe sea view on the 18th floor, was spacious with a small balcony overlooking the sea. There was a chaise longue which acted as a bed for one of the children we had, and the hotel was happy to provide extra towels and pillows. We booked for 4 but as usual they only provide for 2, but asking for extra stuff is fine. I can't comment on the other rooms as we didn't see or visit any. The decor is a bit faded but we thought it was fine for what you pay. Breakfast was fairly decent, really. Good selection of Thai dishes, mini croissants, banana cakes, and an egg station, which is always welcome. A decent coffee machine would be a huge bonus as there didn't seem to be anywhere you could get a decent one without walking out of the hotel and down the street. The not so good This is a BIG hotel. If you suffer from vertigo, then the lifts could be a problem as they have a glass back facing into the open atrium, which actually stretches from the ground floor all the way up to the roof, 21 floors above. If anyone suffers from a fear of heights then ask to use the service lift, which is a properly enclosed one. I don't think the staff would mind at all. And because it's so big, so much of the space seemed to be empty of any activity. The reception area is quite pleasant but there seemed to be three restaurants, which, except for breakfast which moved from one place to another in the few days we were there, never had anyone in them. I didn't really worry if they were open or not as we wanted to eat meals outside anyway, but it did seem to add to the rather forlorn aspect of the rest of Cha-Am. Overall, we thought it was fine for what we paid and it's in a great location, close to the beach and a range of eating places up and down the main street.

Tara Mantra, a hotel dedicated to the decline and wants to be well presented. The difficult times of Corona are unquestionable, but then you should be happy about every solving customer and roll the red tape symbolically. But not in this hotel. You have as a non-Thai speaking guest on the whole line Lost,it always gets the feeling of being disgusting and questions cannot be answered because of language barriers. As we have been guests again and again in Tara Mantra for years,I could experience the breakdown of this hotel even closer. The rooms are smooth, not really maintained, the bathroom I don't want to describe it more. The breakfast was slightly more slightly from year to year until it became a disaster today. The breakfast room has now closed for a few days since only 3Zimmer is located in this hotel. Therefore we were instructed to take the next few days of breakfast on to order the room.Isn't it a problem in principle if I have the opportunity to breakfast comfortable in this room, and not like a monkey on the couch must take my breakfast to me.Maybe that I overtake in the sense, But that's not worth 4 stars. Damn, but this hotel has lost 2Stammgcast,but I don't think the staff will not realize that.

The room that me and other 2 members of the family got had enough space for 3 people, even though the third bed was added there additionally. There was big couch/place to sit/play in the middle of room. We used it for our suitcases, which was very convenient for us. Another good thing is that there is one sink in the bathroom, and another sink in the room. So bye-bye long line for the bathroom!

CCarrie DENGA very satisfying experience, what we liked the most was the slide in the swimming pool and the poolside billiards. We all had a great time.
The overall feeling was very clean, and the kitchen facilities were also well-equipped.
The host was very thoughtful, as they had prepared some cakes in the refrigerator for us as a snack before we arrived, and the next day they also brought us fruits and distilled water. The most considerate thing was that the host helped arrange a massage therapist to come to the villa for a massage, and it was really good, and the price was cheap.
Although the location is not in the city center, it only takes 15 to 20 minutes by car, and there is a beach within a 10-minute walk. If you don't drive, calling a car is also very convenient, so I don't think the location is a big problem.
We unanimously recommend it to our friends around us!
GGuest UserMy partner and I have travelled a fair bit around and Thailand and we both agreed that this is one of, if not the best boutique resort we have ever stayed in. if you are looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet to relax for a few days it's hard to imagine anywhere that could be better. From the beautiful property itself to the staff who are wonderful. It's a little far from town (although they do have a regular shuttle bus) so probably not ideal for those who want to go out partying, but if you're looking for peace and quiet I can highly recommend Devsaom resort. Best of all, there were no screaming kids running everywhere, just other singles and couples looking to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, wonderful food and hospitality. Thank you to Rasri and her team for a perfect stay...
MMJ98First impressions: The hotel appears small from the front but stretches back quite far. It is noticeable that there is not much parking and I am not sure what accommodations they make in busier times of the year, however, it wasn't a problem for us on the day we stayed there. The staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived and we were well received by the staff who spoke good English and explained everything that we needed to know. Heading upstairs and seeing the restaurant and the swimming pools we were surprised by the size of the place, given the small frontage. There are multiple swimming pools located near each cluster of rooms so they're not always too full of people and there's plenty of space to relax in the pool and swim. The restaurant may appear small but breakfast times are split and you tell the staff when you arrive when you'd like breakfast so you'll be guaranteed space in the morning.
The Room: We chose the seaview room with a jacuzzi. The room had a nice view of the sea and the bed was very big and comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the size of the bathroom. The hotel provides slippers, dressing gowns and flip flops which all came in really handy. Additionally, items on the mini bar were complimentary which was a nice touch. The jacuzzi was also a nice addition but one complaint about the room is that not all of the controls worked for us. Also we found that the lighting in the room was a little strange and most of the lights were controlled by a large panel of switches next to the bed which was not very practical. Other than this the room was immaculately clean and the design was very nice.
The location: The hotel is not too far from the main road which makes it quite easily accessible by car. It is located on a road which does not have much else so it's appropriate for taking a relaxing walk, however if you want to find a shop you need to drive. We went to Cha Am town centre in the evening for the night market. It was very close by (by car) and had lots of options for food. The hotel also offers food in the evening, but there isn't anything else within walking distance.
GGuest UserThe resort consists of a number of villas laid out on a large area of land. Widely spaced so it is very quiet. It is just off the main road, but there is a 7-11 close by and a restaurant on the other side of the road. Apart from that not much outside of the area. Friendly and efficient reception staff and transportation to the room. The room is big with an extra couch, a fridge with complimentary water, a balcony and a bathroom with toilet and shower. All is not new but in good condition. The aircon is a bit loud. There is a coffee machine, but the cups need to be purchased at 50 baht each. WiFi works well, only annoying the repeated request for log in. At night the room is very dark. There is a large pool (about 30 meters long, 1.20 m deep) with around it enough reclining chairs. A bit spartan, no cushions, as with the chairs on the balcony. The hotel is situated on the beach front. There is some music from the bar but not too loud and bit away from the bar it is quiet. The restaurant serves mainly Thai food and sometimes here is some live music (mostly Thai songs). Breakfast is very extensive and service is friendly. There is the inevitable music to entertain you, but if you prefer to unwind more quietly you can sit outside or by the pool. All in all this place is good value for money.
GGuest UserThe hotel is beach front and in the good location not far from Bangkok. Easy to travel to the Hua Hin downtown. The restaurant, bar and spa in the hotel are good choices if you don't want to go out. The price is not cheap but with high standard of five star hotel. We could say it' reasonable price, not very pricey. Love this place and absolutely will come back every year.
GGuest UserOur recent stay at Sheraton Resort and Spa Huahin was absolutely exceptional. We checked in on July 24 and stayed for three nights and four days. The entire experience was smooth and amazing, as it always is when we visit. The outstanding service we received ensured that we will make this an annual sister trip. Every department, from the bell boys who collected our bags to the front desk staff who facilitated check-in and check-out, was incredibly helpful. In particular, K. Orijin demonstrated great kindness and a service-oriented mindset. During our stay, only one restaurant, Luna Lanai, was open on weekdays. However, all three of our meals - breakfast, lunch, and dinner - were enjoyed there, and the food and beverage team never failed to impress. They were incredibly accommodating, even going so far as to ask the chef to prepare meals not on the menu based on our preferences. We would like to extend our gratitude to the entire F&B team for taking such good care of us and making us feel like royalty. It is because of their dedication and exceptional service that we have decided to make this an annual tradition, spending our sisters' trip at this beautiful hotel. A special thank you goes to Chef A, Sunee, Oh, Dom, Noom, and the SV team consisting of Surat, Alex, Manfa, Yodsanon, and Bam. Each of them played a significant role in making our meals outstanding. Our stay was made even more memorable as we were able to celebrate my sister's birthday and anniversary simultaneously. We would like to express our gratitude to every single staff member at Sheraton Resort and Spa Huahin for ensuring that our stay was nothing short of amazing. Thank you Sirikumar Sabina Vinny
GGuest UserThis hotel is not exactly smack in the middle of Cha-am nor Hua Hin. However, it is a true retreat by itself. Like an oasis that pops in the middle of the rural landscape just north of Cha-am, the weekend here was a bustle of activities. Very popular with families with kids. There were so many kids here filling up the main and kids’ pool on Saturday. As the weekend ended, on the late afternoon of Sunday and a good half of Monday, the resort turned peaceful. Finally, there was more water then Children. The kiddy pool has a large air-filled dome sprouting water sky high. Both kids and adults were having fun climbing up and sliding down the feature. In the main pool, they have a permanent floating obstacle course called a Wibit. It was enjoyable watching people, including children, crash and fall into the water as they attempted to complete the course. So Sofitel Hua Hin is just filled to the brim with amenities. They have a kids’ club, a mini golf full of mythical figurines and a cycling track. One can ride their complementary bicycle, or have children rent their mini mopeds, scooters and other toy-ish vehicles. They have a games room (but it was hot), a mini tennis court and a bigger one that doubles as a basketball court. 4 pools in total on this land parcel perpendicular to the sea. The one near the beachfront has a jacuzzi, and there is yet another one in front of the gym. A beach restaurant fringes the not so friendly ocean. The sea was rough and murky. The water came up the break wall that prevents the garden from spilling into the sea. There is a mini sand beach with a few deck chairs, but it wasn’t much of a beach. Breakfast and dinner, we had them in their main restaurant called White Oven. It was really an oven, the air-conditioning needs some work. Otherwise it was pleasing to sit outdoors in the light morning breeze. The breakfast was extensive, a good wide mix of local and western dishes. Moo Ping (pork satays morning version) was superbly tasty and tender. The gravy for Kanom Jin (Thai rice noodle) was of a good rich density. There was also ice cream served in the buffet. However, the chicken rice was off, and their Pla Tong Kor (dough fritters) was a failure in texture and in taste. For the two mornings I had them, I do not know if it was just me, they had a strong hint of something medical. The room we had was So Family that has two bunk beds tucked into the side behind the master bed. The room was a whopping 60 square meters and was intensely decorated. If you live in a condominium, you will wish your studio is as trendy as this. The bathroom is massive. I love the floor to ceiling shower best. They have push buttons to turn on the water. There is one that produce moderate rain, another for heavy rain, and I was looking for the third that produce hurricane. It is not available. Everywhere in the room, there are mini statues of rabbits. One is beside the loo looking at me doing my business. When my daughter was taking too l
GGuest UserI stayed here with my gf for 5 nights in mid Feb. 2023. First of all, the staff who work here are all lovely and freindly and bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. Especially the young lad who drives the golf cart. He will take you to the beach or the local 7/11 no problem. It's in a quiet area of Cha Am so is ideal for couples , or those wanting a nice relaxing vacation. If you want to go in to the action of Hua Hin, it's only about 90 to 100 baht for a Bolt taxi , about 15 mins ride. The rooms are fantastic. Big bedroom, massive bathroom, you even have a lounge area , and nice big balcony with a nice settee. The breakfast is excellent, many choices , both Asian and Western. So if you want to spend a nice relaxing time with your partner or family, this is highly recommended by me. David McGow. I will be returning here at some point in the future. Guaranteed.
DDamoJenksThe hotel was easy to find, closer to the beach than I thought when booking. Some nice places to eat nearby. Caution when swimming! There is a white wall in the pool, it’s not easy to see when you are in the water. It separates a section of the pool and the wall is not marked. Around 8-10 inches below the water surface, no markings and I swam right into it. The pool chemicals were extremely high, very strong and hurts your eyes when swimming under water.
Staff were pleasant, checkin was quick and someone showed me directly to my room. Extra money for a pool side room seemed hardly worth it. Disturbed easily by kids playing in the pool at 7am.
