3-Star Hotels in Cha-am

the price is very cheap compared to the room where you stay,the air conditioner is cool,the water flow is strong,there is a water heater,and it is very easy to check in.

Stayed for 7 nights during Songkran..first room they gave us was so small no where to put your clothes and no where to swing yer cat.. asked about another room was shown the one next door with twin beds and more than double the size with a wardrobe and drawers but of course more money so we took it..i booked the top floor (3) as i prefer not to listen to people stomping and moving furniture above me..unfortunately it was not what i expected..i knew there was no one next door so why was i listening to the constant chatter of people and a tv until gone 1am..well it appears that it was from the room across the hallway and thats because the roof void above the ceiling was empty space with no partitioning so for the whole stay it was constantly noisy from every room on every floor every night until early hours and starts again at the crack of dawn..i might add that the ceilings were made from timber with gaps nothing solid..wifi didn't work in the room very well hit and miss..pool wasn't very inviting in the day time looked very murky looked better at night when the lights were on..the cleanliness was not upto my standards..had to ask them to stop watering the garden one day so that i could take a shower..sprinklers on no shower in yer room..so for those reasons i would not recommend or stay again....

The room that me and other 2 members of the family got had enough space for 3 people, even though the third bed was added there additionally. There was big couch/place to sit/play in the middle of room. We used it for our suitcases, which was very convenient for us. Another good thing is that there is one sink in the bathroom, and another sink in the room. So bye-bye long line for the bathroom!

The hotel exceeded all our expectations be it the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and the ambience. Located in the quieter side of Cha-am, the hotel is very clean and has ample parking space for its guests. The room is big with a balcony and the water pressure is good. The room has been kept clean throughout with its staff very attentive during cleaning. The breakfast though not buffet but a set menu, is ample is nice. The waiting staff is attentive having noticed that the coffee is not hot enough and the creamer was not dissolving well, he quickly helped to replaced both cups of coffee with apologies. Outside the hotel, there some roadside stalls as well as some shops where you can get good food as well. A 7-11 convenience store is nearby too. Do note that every Wednesday the roadside stalls will be closed. We’re so happy with our stay that we booked another stay during the coming Chinese New Year holidays.

We arrived on the 10th July 2022. We checked into our fourth floor Seaview room in the early evening and went out for our evening meal, when we returned and unpacked we noticed how small the room was, certainly smaller than our bedroom at home, but we did have a Seaview. The bed was certainly less than 183cm, I'm 188cm so my legs hung over the end of the bed, my Partner was ok though. The aircon was working, but about 4.30am there was a loud bang outside of the room and the aircon stopped working. The only way you can contact reception is to walk there or use your mobile phone, it was cool so I decided to report this later, which I did. The Engineer from an outside company arriver later in the day and decided this may take some days to repair. The Manager on duty decided we could not change our room, so I asked for a refund which was denied. Then it was decided that we had to use our room during the day, but sleep in another room that had working aircon at night, the first room was on the third floor, we used that for two nights then transferred to the room opposite our on the fourth floor, which had been empty all the time we where there. Different Manager could see the problems we were having walking between rooms on different floors and no help or assistance given carrying our luggage between rooms. Eventually the aircon in our room was repaired, took a team of three Engineers to complete the task and we moved back into our booked room. The Managers on duty when this incident occurred, two young men are in need of extensive customer relations training, you should not have to knock on the partition at reception to gain their attention, too busy looking at their mobile phones to deal with anyone. We wanted to rent a motorbike, reception quoted 500 baht a day, everywhere else 200 baht or less per day, so we rented elsewhere. We found that our motorbike had been moved during the night on one occasion, to a place where it blocked access to the kitchen entrance, one of the kitchen staff was very rude to my Partner, thinking we had placed the motorbike there. The positive comments on our stay, the breakfast was really good and all but three of the Staff were excellent.

Amazing beachfront hostel located on the top of a 17 floors-building with breathtaking sea view. Staff was nice and helpful, the room was clean, and shared bathrooms spacious and hygienic. What makes this property unique is, of course, it's location, which allowed an almost 360° view on the sea on one side and the hills on the other. Another detail that makes this place stand out is the remarkable size of its common space which allowed some privacy even in the hostel common area. Definitely a great place to chill for a few days with the mild sea breeze blowing your hair 24 hours a day. I wish I'd have stayed longer than my just 2 nights stay. Talay is probably the must stay hostel in Cha Am.

Beautiful hotel. Room is very bright with natural lighting and when the lights are on. I like that very much. Great services from Reception and Housekeeping staff. Got room 7 on the 3rd floor having partial pool view and balcony. Water pressure is not stable as it runs strong and not so strong continuously but that doesn’t bother me. The pool is small but charming and we enjoy our swim there. As in most hotels in Thailand, they don’t provide toothbrush set. I always bring mine. Thanks for calling a scooter to bring 2 of us the Cha-am train Station. Walking in costs more so it’s a lot better to book with Trip.com.

The hotel condition in the rooms is rather old and dusty. The mattress is soft, but the air conditioner is old but cool. The service is good.

Convenient transportation, easy to find in the heart of Cha-am. 1-2 minutes drive from the beach, close to restaurants. Clean rooms, soft beds, comfortable sleep. And fast internet

The hotel was easy to find, closer to the beach than I thought when booking. Some nice places to eat nearby. Caution when swimming! There is a white wall in the pool, it’s not easy to see when you are in the water. It separates a section of the pool and the wall is not marked. Around 8-10 inches below the water surface, no markings and I swam right into it. The pool chemicals were extremely high, very strong and hurts your eyes when swimming under water. Staff were pleasant, checkin was quick and someone showed me directly to my room. Extra money for a pool side room seemed hardly worth it. Disturbed easily by kids playing in the pool at 7am.
