King Oscar Motel Centralia

My husband and I were traveling late and needed a cheap place to stay for the evening. The King Oscar Motel is a bit old, and there are people that actually live there, but everything was in working order and clean. The beds were a little hard. The staff was very nice and helpful in finding us some where to eat at almost 10p. Very inexpensive and quiet, even though it is right next to I5.

It is an old property Beds are hard Bath towels thin Great customer service !! Front desk staff great !! It was just a night and it worked ! I did get some sleep! It wants 200 Characters ,, I have. Another 40 characters It was a good experience and now finished !

If your looking for a nice, comfortable, clean, or relaxing place to stay then don’t stay here! Seriously, this place is terrible and I am a frequent traveler (Pilot) so I’ve stayed in hundreds of rooms. But there is a difference when you are booking a room for yourself verses the airline putting you somewhere for the night. I chose this place! I needed a place in the Centralia area for a few nights while visiting relatives and needed a room with two beds which were in short supply in the area. After reading several reviews for hotels in the area, I decided on this one based on reviews and pictures. Honestly, there were actually no properties with great reviews but there fewer with rooms with two beds near Centralia. Upon arrival, we were given our room (109) and were quite surprised at the condition of the room. This is a very old property so you can’t expect the best but besides being old this property is very neglected. Example: The door to the bathroom had been replaced and looked as if though a child had installed it. The original door had three hinges but the replacement door was installed using only two hinges which did not fit correctly so the door would not close! The door was bare wood with no finish on it and had a fist size hole in it to boot. Filthy carpet, miss matched tile colors where the tile had been repaired, leaking tub faucet and a half inch open gap under the entry door where there was no threshold. There is no reason to go on listing the ugliness of this property. We were given another room the second night (103) but you can’t fix nasty and worn out. By our third night we had found another room in Olympia 23 miles further north and simply skipped out on the third night. No we did not get any type of refund but we did get into a much better hotel our last three nights we were there. Oh, by the way, breakfast here was quite literally a joke. I want even go into details here. We ended up in a Ramada Inn and even though it was much farther away, it was well worth the move. We even stayed two more days once we were in a comfortable room! Safe and happy travels!

This place was disgusting. Checked in late at night the front desk people were OK. Got our room as we approached critters scattered away. Opened the door and were immediately met with a very bad chemically smell. Walked in put down our stuff. Pulled back the covers only to find hair and stains on the sheets. Pulled out the nightstand to plug in my cell charger and got hit in the face with a pee smell. My wife left to get some blankets as we were not going to use theirs. So I explored more. Found blood spatter on the floorboards and the celieng. Come one had wiped crop on the closet wall which was also covered in grease or dirt. The floor looked like it had never been vacuumed. The bathroom just ewww. As for the second bed in the room I looked under the sheet and it was stained heavily with something. Never will stay again.

You get what you pay for but @ $115/ night plus taxes this was a disappointment. Hotel was dated & poorly maintained. Pool & spa were out of service. Torn window screens. leaking faucet, etc. Main complaint was that creaking ceiling made it really difficult to sleep. Room was a good size & continental breakfast was adequate.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!! 2 night stay ended with me being covered in over 20 bed bug bites. No reimbursement & was told “There is nothing they can do until there is proof” WTH?! like the bites just magically appeared! Smelly rooms. Homeless camps/people & broken cars surrounding the building. “Hot tub” has no jets so it’s a warm bath that lead to a yeast infection. You get what you pay for unfortunately, but never expected to be in pain after staying there. EXTREMELY upset and disappointed.

The hotel is conveniently located to the freeway and local restaurants and services. The room was very comfortable. I had issues with the maintenance of the rooms amenities Phone - could hear the person called, at all TV - abruptly stopped working, some channels don't have sound Coffee Maker - didn't work Alarm Clock - set a wake up alarm, buzzer only had a low static hum. Not Loyd enough to wake me Wifi - unsecured and not robust enough to work efficiently Lastly, my vehicle was vandalized and someone broke off my rear window wiper

We stayed two dreadful nights at this hotel. It has deteriorated dramatically since our last stay about three years ago. We used to stay frequently here, as an inexpensive and convenient location to the fairgrounds that was generally in good repair and clean. The room was in poor condition, light bulbs out, mismatched tiles in bathroom, dirty floor etc. No other ground floor rooms available. 11:30 at night when we checked in so little other choices. Gone all next day and came back to our room having the door slightly ajar. The maid had not closed it. Beds made, new towels, new soap and coffee but the manager claimed our room had not been cleaned that day when we called to report my jewelry bag missing. Police said this is not a safe hotel/area. management gaslighted us that no maid had been in our room and refused to check the key code door record. Do NOT stay here.

Love the service there very friendly and the housekeepers rock they really go out of there way for the guest .great price great location office is very nice also Rooms are clean fresh towels coffee maker in room and free wifi .will stay again
