A piece of paper on the door tells you to call a Slovenian number or send an email for more information. When we called, they told us that the hotel they sent us to as a "replacement" is a hotel that is 18 minutes by car from the center of Maribor, in the middle of the mountain. We booked a hotel in the city center for an overnight stay, and had to end up going more than 20 minutes out of town by car (and thank goodness we had a car). The only positive thing is the facilities of the replacement hotel (Hotel Arena), which were very good, with everything very clean, very good breakfast and very friendly staff. But arriving at a reserved hotel and having it closed without prior notice makes no sense.

Et udmærket hotel centralt beliggende i centrum.
Svært at finde på grund af dårlig skiltning.
Ingen tydelig markering af hotellet parkering, hvilket betød, at jeg kørte på forkert parkering, og måtte betale for det.
Det er dårlig, at elevator kun er fra 1. sal og op. Man skal op ad trapper og gå 60 - 70 meter til elevatoren.

Good hotel adequate for short stays
The hotel is nicely located, just across the street from the City Centre, and a short walk to the river promenade. The neighbourhood is quite, clean and safe. The hotel furniture and amenities are quite practical and adequate. The included breakfast is well stocked with good variety. The only question is the charge of 10 Euro for parking your car there, while there are ample of street parking right next to the hotel.
