Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia Resort

Really badly run hotel, At first they could not find my booking then they checked me out when I clearly stated I had a second booking, my keys got deactivated had to wait outside for nearly 20 mins before they sent new ones, breakfast is horribly bad with flies all over the pastries, croissants hard as a rock even the Executive Chef had to come and prepare 2 basic fried eggs sunny side up soft on top as the other staff could only deliver half cooked eggs simply not good enough I would not recommend this hotel

Novotel hotel management should renovate rooms as soon as possible, it’s looking very old , I think they haven’t change their interior from last 20-25 years, running their hotel with same old interior,Rooms doesn’t give feel of Five star property. "family trip to south goa" this was my third stay in south goa. This time i chose novotel don o sylvia resort at cavelossim. I stayed for 5 nights. Well the room was situated in a ground villa with two rooms. Room was good with spacious bathroom and storage area. Rest as usual things were present. The outdoor sitting area was an added feature which we spent for our evening tea. The pool area is large and has three categories. That's a star at this resort. The morning breakfast was okay and nothing extraordinary. Repetitions of all dishes were seen in all the days i stayed. It needs improvement. While i was staying there were two company meetings going on consecutively. Suddenly all of the resort becomes crowded. The issue is not this. I felt that there was lack of one to one attention for guests. Of course foreigners are treated in a different manner. The staff right from reception, housekeeping, buffet counter to the guards are very polite and always cheerful. The beach pathway is great and feels you the real size of this resort. It's located near to good restaurants. Robin's was my favourite. Rest the stay was good.

Nice, clean property with private access to beach. Stay was comfortable. Had booked two rooms, but same were not provided in same building. Otherwise, stay was comfortable.

I booked this hotel in the month of November. I have a wonderful experience and staff is also very good. Direct access of the private beach is the best and with very few people. I have spent a nice time with my family. If you want premium international experience in goa then stay My name is Mukul.

Beautiful property, a private access to beach, great hospitality & amazing food. Highly recommended!
