The place was good and the staff are accommodating. It's very convenient because it's near the port and some shops. The food they provide was also good.

I found a diamond stop over while traveling from Mindoro to Cataclan on the ferry. Candice Hotel. Helpful staff, nice touches with a welcome drink, clean room and to top it all a great restaurant. All at a reasonable price. 1500p a night on Agoda. What more do you want. I'll be back on my travels.

We stayed here just one night before getting the boat to Boracay and are so glad we did. The entrance is tucked away down an alley so we weren’t sure when we first arrived but once inside there was a very cute small cafe/restaurant and the staff welcomed us with a complimentary freshly made cucumber lemonade. There is no elevator so a very strong porter kindly carried our very heavy suitcases up the 3 flights of stairs to our room. Room was small but more than sufficient for an overnight stay and bathroom included toothbrush and toothpaste set which was a nice touch. Ate dinner at the restaurant downstairs which was delicious and great value for money. Staff were the best part, very friendly, helpful and chilled. Absolutely recommend this place.
