Thank you Lizzie and David for welcoming us into your lovely accommodation that surrounded us with so many interesting features and memories. The Clock Tower is absolutely gorgeous. Our top floor room next to the old clock mechanism was marvellous. Spacious, comfortable, great bed and a large a bathroom. Our small balcony with table and chairs was visited by birdsong all around and no other sounds. Adorable views across the garden towards an ancient church (to which the cherry tree walk is simply delightful) and onward to the more distant rustic countryside. Several times we enjoyed a wonderful walk along the gate-locked lane (no traffic) to the Red Lion - a great pub in the lovely village of Hellidon. Our car stayed parked in the forecourt for several days as we simply absorbed the English countryside. To top it off were the wonderful hosts - and the poached eggs at breakfast - excellent. Indeed, at the risk of overstating things, they were perfect. And of course - our other new friends - the owners' two lovely dogs! When next we visit from Australia we will stay again!

Delightful hosts who gave us a warm welcome. Beautiful location with lots of walking opportunities. Large room with many personal features. We would certainly consider returning, perhaps as a weekend away treat.

Highly recommend The Clock Tower. It has that rare combination of being off the beaten track yet accessible to everywhere. It feels like a charming family home yet has all the facilities you could hope for from a high end hotel. Beautiful Rooms, generous en-suite bathrooms and luxury toiletries. Wonderful peaceful breakfast setting with every extra offered. Lizzie went above and beyond to make our two night stay a delight.

We were visiting the area for my nieces wedding and decided to stay at Lizzie and David's amazing home... The Clock Tower. After a warm welcome, we were shown to our room with the biggest bathroom ever. The views were beautiful looking out over gardens and the countryside. There are various walks you can do and even the local pub is within walking distance. Lizzie always met us for breakfast in the morning with plenty of hot and cold choices, with fresh fruit, berries and yogurt along with fresh orange juice. The highlight though, was meeting their two lovely, loyal dogs (sorry Lizzie and David) who always kept us company at breakfast hoping for any bits of food we wernt able to finish!!! Whilst there, we also visited Daventry Park which had a lovely big lake you could walk round easily as they had made wooden walkways in certain parts. There were plenty of ducks around as well and a small cafe. Leamington Spa and Stratford aren't far away and we also visited a couple of villages in the Cotswolds. All in all, The Clock Tower is a beautiful, tranquil place to stay just to unwind, relax and chill out for a few days'.

Spotless, charming, very, very quiet, beautiful setting, friendly and attentive hosts. Absolutely nothing negative at all. Possibly one of my favourite ever places I've stayed at in 25 years of travelling for business. I've recommended it to all of my work colleagues.

We wanted a quick family night away during half-term. This looked like an interesting and quirky place with lots of character, and so it turned out when we arrived. Lovely big room with a view over the countryside, and more than enough space for two adults and two kids to lounge. Very quiet, which we liked, as we did the delicious breakfast. David and Lizzie were very welcoming and helpful, and pointed us towards walks, dining options, etc, which allowed us to make the most of our short stay. They also dealt perfectly with the fact that one of our family has a fear of dogs, which we really appreciated. Having not stayed at a B&B-type property for a while, this was a refreshing reminder of how good it can be. Would love to visit again once the evenings get brighter.
