The hotel is between T1 and T2, so you can take the airport shuttle. The shuttle went on strike the morning of departure. Fortunately, I asked the front desk whether the shuttle was circling or going back and forth, and was told that it was on strike. Otherwise, it would be troublesome to go there and wait for the bus. The hotel should have posted a notice at the front desk.

Would have liked to get a coffee while waiting for room but all machines had been turned off some electric works which is just unfortunate timing I suppose. Otherwise all very good😊

I stayed at this hotel after traveling from Tuscany to Malpensa by train to catch a flight the next day. I was able to get there for free by the airport shuttle bus. I was also glad that I could get to Terminal 1 by the free shuttle bus the next day. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The front desk staff were very kind to us, who speak neither English nor Italian. When I asked them if I wanted to eat pizza or pasta outside the hotel for dinner, they immediately told me the name of the restaurant and made a reservation for me. Coffee and tea were also provided in the room. Here is a photo of the restaurant they recommended.

I had an early flight so I stayed near the airport the night before. The hotel was in line with Holiday Inn's usual style, with large rooms and all the breakfast options. Here I'll mainly talk about where to take the free airport terminal shuttle bus to the hotel. It's a free bus, free of charge. The bus stop is right at the entrance of Sheraton Hotel in Terminal T1. In the terminal (whether on the departure or arrival level), look for the bus with the T2 sign (Figure 5), or look for the Sheraton hotel sign, follow the instructions all the way to the basement level, and you'll see the bus stop standing on the right side of the gate when you go out. Get off at Case Nuova and look to the left, and you'll see the Holiday Inn sign. It's a 5-minute walk. This free shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes, and the hotel also has a paid bus (15 euros per person, reservation required), so it's better to walk a few steps and take the free one. You can't walk from the terminal to the hotel. Although it's less than three kilometers, the road is winding and not suitable for walking.
