We stayed from June 25th to 26th, 2022 at the Ácala apartments. We were well received at reception and had the opportunity to check in before 4pm. The apartment had good space, with a terrace. There were some ants in the kitchen area and the floor had some crumbs, but nothing that made us complain. In the late afternoon, after the beach, we went to take a shower, but the water didn't heat up, in either of the two bathrooms or in the kitchen. We called reception, who sent the maintenance technician to look at the boiler. The technician was unable to resolve the problem and said he would notify reception to change our room. But they didn't care and we didn't have hot water. At check-out, after waiting for some time to speak to the supervisor and requesting the complaints book, what we were offered was 30% of the reservation value and attention during the next stay, if we stayed there in the future... I think that Hot water is a minimum in a group of 4-star luxury hotels/apartments. Our stay didn't go very well.
