The Savannah Inn

Our first time to Carolina Beach last may and we happen upon the Savannah Inn. What a gem of a place to enjoy 4 memorable days at the beach. The Inn is only steps away from the ocean with a beautiful uncrowded beach, the ocean boardwalk - and is convenient to all this quaint little beach town has to offer. The staff and owner made us feel right at home. I highly recommend the Savannah Inn. My wife and I will definitely be back.

When I go to the beach I don't want any frills and this place is no frills but is awesome! It's exactly what I wanted. The owner is amazing and the place is way cute! It's not too big and not over crowded. It's right on the beach and is just perfect for me! I WILL BE BACK!!!!

Spend a few days here while on business in Wilmington (20 min) away. Rooms are very clean, staff friendly and tentative, maintenance completed and Susan was very nice. Pride of ownership was evident with the care and cleanliness of everything. Located directly on a private beach walkway with faucets for washing feet. Pool very nice and chairs outside rooms was a nice touch. Would stay here again and recommend to others. Also walking distance to kids amusement park, Hardee's, McDonalds, and island restaurants..

5th summer in a row here (which we found on TripAdvisor). Family-owned charming hotel that the owner continues to improve. 2nd floor has balconies with an ocean view. Easy beach access and nice outside shower. Lots of room on the beach and quiet. Basically the opposite of Myrtle Beach! Short walk to the boardwalk. Great value! Can't wait to return!

If you're looking for a no frills, clean hotel room with simple amenities, this is a great place! The room and hotel were very clean and well kept. Accommodating and helpful staff. Quick and easy access to the beach. Nice well kept clean pool. Quiet family environment. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel.

We stayed in an ocean front king room on the 2nd floor. Nothing fancy about this hotel but loved our stay here. Our room had knotted pine walls and was so charming. It was so nice not having to hear doors slam in a hallway all night and the halls weren't so thin that we heard our neighbors all night. Very small inn with only 22 rooms so service was very personal and friendly! Hotel is 2 stories tall so while you don't a sweeping view of the sandy beach you get a view of the ocean if you are on the 2nd story. One morning we saw dolphins out in the water so that was a great treat!! We were near the boardwalk yet far enough away that it was quiet! Truly love the treasure of Carolina Beach!! Will be going back again and again!! They do not have an machine...they are a small hotel! They have mini fridge in room so we just bought a bag of ice and filled our cooler and put rest in freezer of our mini fridge. I know they also offer efficiency apartments.
