服務無可挑剔,設施比較老舊,衞生比較讓人擔憂。服務拉高了其他方面的不足

Booked for an overnight stay when travelling back from Scotland. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Room was clean and tidy with nice amenities. Would definitely stay here again if in the area

Overall it was pretty good. I stayed for 6 nights. Breakfast was the same every day, but you can order vegetarian meals. The toilet doesn't flush well. Front desk service is also available. Room service always forgets to provide enough supplies.

After a 7 hour drive we checked in for our midway stay to Inverness. Me, husband and 78 year old Mum with mobility issues. When we made the booking in September we asked for a walk in shower on the Ground floor. I received an email saying that was fine, and the superior king room for me and husband was on first floor. When we got there, we were told my mums double was on the first floor. Up 2 lots of stairs. They had no other room, even though the lady on reception checked for any other rooms. So we gave our room to my mum as she had less stairs to contend with, and we took a very tired room with a dated bathroom that came with the added extra of mouldy grouting and missing tile. There IS a lift in the building, but we were told it hadn't worked for over a year!! Pretty poor really. To add to these problems, the restaurant was closed because the chef had 'gone home'! This was at 7.30. Advertised as being open until 9pm. The only 2 positives I have are 2 of the staff we encountered. Natalia on reception. She tried everything she could to help us, and the lady in the restaurant at breakfast time. Very friendly. Breakfast was good. Other than that, I would avoid at all costs and stick to a Premier Inn next time

Fast easy check-in, bit of a treck to find our room, up and down stairs and along corridors and the lift was out of order. Later found an easier, more direct route! The room was clean and comfortable, and as well as the usual tea and coffee, bottled water and biscuits. Decent towels and toiletries in the bathroom but low water pressure meant the shower was a dribble. Good breakfast supplied. We ate in the bar one evening, food was served quickly and was very good. Drinks reasonably priced and served by a very pleasant young man. In fact, all the staff we encountered were nice and seemed happy in their work. We enjoyed our 3 nights in the hotel and would happily return.

We stayed one night during a visit to Carlisle. Plus points were plenty of free parking and check in was quick and fuss free. Our room was small but acceptable as it was clean with new furnishings but the bathroom was very small. A brown stained shower curtain was uninviting and the dated shower not very powerful. It was also annoying to have no hooks in the bathroom to hang fresh clothes while washing. The plumbing was noisy and several times in the night we were woken by it and a loud humming as it presumably settled down. After reports of excellent cooked breakfasts on past reviews we found it disappointing. A buffet style breakfast that was lukewarm and unappetising to eat by the time you had chosen your food and sat down so it was left uneaten.

Very comfortable room and the service was good. Convenient location for exploring the area. The food service was good and reasonably priced, plus many good restaurants in the area. The on-site parking was a plus. This is a place I would stay in again, if in the area.

On arrival the Hotel reception looks pleasant, really good and modern. However our Room 107 was so small, and very dated. Rooms definitely need upgrading, especially having accessible rooms for disabled and less mobile guests. Mixer taps in bathroom would definitely be a plus. Staff are friendly and helpful. Was ok for a night's stopover.
