We stayed here for 1 night on our way further south and everything was clean and comfortable albeit basic. It was very quiet at night with no noise. Food in the restaurant was good and well presented. The garden is worth a visit and is described as being the largest cactus garden in the world.

The best thing about this hotel is the grounds. The amount of work that must go into maintaining the stunning cactus gardens is unreal. It was like staying in your own personal botanical gardens. It was so peacful to sit in the sun after breakfast and listen to all the bird song. The room was simple and stylishly decorated with enough room for 2 people. It was very dark and quiet so we slept really well. We had dinner in their restaurant, as well as breakfast. All the food was really delicious and well cooked and the staff were really friendly and attentive. We only stayed 1 night on our way along the garden route and we didnt realise until we got there that there was so much to do in the local area. I would definitly go back and explore this part of SA a bit more.

The restaurant was so disappointing Very high prices for nothing special Most expensive chicken schnitzel I’ve ever had R265 for 2 small pieces The service was very good

A lovely stay at Mo & Rose
Great stay. The gardens are stunning. The pool was lovely & we were very comfortable in our room. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant here and breakfast was also very good.
All of the team we met were exceptional - friendly & great at their jobs.
My only regret is that we did not stay longer than one night. We will be back!

We had a one night stay. What an absolute stunning place. Amazing staff, Sipo in reception was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and beautiful. Fireplace going to keep warm. We had everything we need. Amazing food (dinner and breakfast) at the Succulent restaurant with amazing service from our waitress and kitchen staff. We had the most beautiful views of the garden as well as the surrounding mountains. Overall very happy. Thank you we will be there again!

Great weekend getaway. Peaceful surroundings, the gardens are beautiful. Rooms equipped with everything one needs, and a lovely fireplace to snuggle up to with a glass or 3 of wine. Garden view room was just what I needed. Thanks to the team
