Karen was an amazing host!! She introduced me with other guests which was great to talk and listen to other travellers' experiences. The location was great too, it’s just in front of the promenade and within walking distance to the V&A waterfront area.

Wonderful place in a great location. Near everything but far quieter than other options and perfect for walking. Right across from the ocean, safe and easy to get transport. The guesthouse itself is charming and run by lovely people. And the breakfast is very good. Would definitely return.

Een gouden plekje op de boulevard van Kaapstad. Het ligt aan de Atlantische oceaan vlak bij de markante Vuurtoren. Veel restaurants om de hoek. Het appartement, wij hadden nr 14 is fantastisch. mooie slaapkamer met badkamer en een geweldige keuken met lange eettafel en een heerlijk zithoek met balkon. Het uitzicht is fenomenaal op de boulevard met de oceaan en in de verte Robben eiland. De vuurtoren geeft de prachtige zonsondergang cache. We werden warm onthaald en als je geen gebruik van de keuken wil maken kan je genieten van het ontbijt. Dit is een plekje wat alles biedt en kamers heeft voor ieder wat wils en budget.

Very well situated on the ocean front making it walking distance everywhere in a safe environment. Warm welcome from Karen who makes you feel at home full of good advice and excellent breakfast maker, Rooms are clean with all amenities for a functional stay.

I had a wonderful, homely experience thanks to Karen and her team. The breakfast was delightful, with the comforting taste of a home-cooked meal. The location is excellent, just a short distance from the V&A Waterfront, and right by the coast, perfect for a scenic run along the beach. My only regret is choosing the smallest room, which was a bit snug—next time, I'll definitely opt for the larger, more spacious option.

OMG were we surprised at the SIZE of the room - huge. Host was adorable and introduced us to the other guests. Just an amazing place. It’s overlooked because of the huge highrises around it but it does not disappoint and should be a destination for you. Also, the coffee was SO good!
