The staff at this hotel is absolutely excellent, and has been mostly the same group of friendly, helpful, funny people for the last few years. I stay here every time I come to Cape Town. It's quiet and restful, with a stunning view over the city. The public areas are comfortable and well-suited to reading, drinking coffee, and getting some work done. The only problem is the showers, which can be a little tricky and sometimes don't have hot water.

Good place to have a short stay. It’s up a hill so not wise to walk. They have a parking space enough for a few cars. Room is basic, no microwave or fridge. It has stairs too so take note if you don’t want to lug your luggage up and down (they have a lift but it doesn’t go to all floors.

Basic room, basic bathroom, if it’s not sea view there is not so much daylight. Overpriced tiny sandwiches can be ordered. They give very good advice about Cape Town and sights.

Very nice day time manager. So kind. Taxi will 50% chance get lost each time. Night time manager was harder to work with, more rude.

Great service... high speed wifi... Stayed there for the whole 2 weeks.

Perfect views of the city to photograph...never to get there on foot. The room is correct, the bed is large and very comfortable, the bathroom is clean but the water system is impractical. The treatment at the reception is nice... if you catch someone because it is almost always empty
