Uitstekende locatie, zowel voor de musea (o.a. BoKaap, maar ook de boot naar Robben Island), voor bezichtigen van of wandelen naar Tafelberg en Lions Head als voor goede restaurants en cafés in de omgeving (alles op loopafstand). Goed ontbijt en prachtig uitzicht op de beroemde bergen.

super hotel,onze eerste nacht daar was in een beetje afgelegen kamer met klein raam met zicht op de carwash.We vroegen of we ,als we terug kwamen,12 dagen later,een andere kamer met "view" zouden kunnen krijgen;wat blijkt toen kregen we een super upgrade,luxe kamer met gigantische badkamer en groot terras met zicht op de tafelberg.We willen nogmaals het personeel hiervoor beadanken

Micmac au niveau des chambres à l'arrivée. Nous avions demandé spécifiquement 2 chambres à côté ou proche l'une de l'autre, et nous nous sommes retrouvés avec 2 chambres dans 2 ailes de l'hôtel, assez éloignées. Pour 2 chambres "heritage deluxe", l'une avait les fenêtres donnant sur un mur (commentaire que j'ai déjà lu). Finalement, un des employés à compris notre situation (mon fils est autiste et nous souhaitons les chambres à proximité) et nous a trouvé 2 chambres super. Malgré ce problème, je mets 4 étoiles car nous avons aimé cet hôtel et son ambiance. Le bar rooftop et surtout la qualité du restaurant, excellente cuisine. La piscine est très petite, mais nous avons vu ça dans plusieurs hôtels du pays.

I enjoyed the location (a bit off the regular tourist trail) and the ability to walk to some intersting nearby attractions. Even the V&A Waterfront was walkable, although a long walk! The Company's Gardens and surrounding museums and art galleries should not be missed.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly, and I enjoyed the rooftop area (when it was not raining ... the consequence of going in rainy season). i even had a chance to enjoy the pool, despite it being winter.
I also used the spa, which was reasonably priced and very good too.

Sehr schönes Hotel mitten in der Stadt im Stadtteil Gardens in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Kloof Street. Blickpunkt den Tafelberg. Whirlpool und Pool (haben wir nicht genutzt) und eine sehr schöne Dachterrasse. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich. Sichere Parkmöglichkeiten im Innenhof waren gegeben.

This charming hotel is absolutely wonderful. The room we had was so beautifully outfitted with a lovely balcony overlooking table top mountian. And coffe and sherry and rusks to nibble on our terrace. The hotel food in the excellent restaurant was superb. And the service from the friendly staff was top shelf. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
