Residence William French Guest House was pleasant and enjoyable stay. Very polite and friendly staff and we absolutely enjoyed the home made varieties of home made jams and cereals! Very good and healthy!

Tutta la casa è bellissima, arredata con gusto ed eleganza. Un panorama mozzafiato. Colazioni e cene abbondanti con prodotti di prima scelta. Il personale gentilissimo e professionale. William una padrone di casa eccezionale. Fidatevi è tutto meraviglioso come nelle foto pubblicate su Booking!!!

This place was an excellent stay, our best in South Africa. William and Primrose are excellent, hard-working hosts and the dogs are lovely! To anyone visiting the area, I highly recommend this residence. Furthermore, I recommend the dinner and breakfast as well. They are great cooks.

What was there not to like? The food and service were excellent. Have dinner in!!! Eclectically decorations. Exquisite view of False Bay. Extremely well-located as a base to visit penguins, see Cape Point and get to Miller's Point/Windmill Beach for a plunge or snorkel. If in season, you may be seeing whales!

Residence William French greatly exceeded our expectations! We made our booking there due to its close proximity to the Cape of Good Hope and Boulder’s Beach, excited about hiking and penguins. It turns out our experience at Residence William French rivaled our experiences in the park and with the penguins; it was fantastic! The residence is located in a quiet neighborhood, perched on a hillside with a stunning view of False Bay. The property is impeccably decorated, comfortable, and welcoming. Our dinner and breakfast there were beautifully and thoughtfully prepared, and delicious, on par with the best meals we’ve had in Cape Town. William is the perfect host. We were sad to leave, wishing we’d booked more nights there.

Highly recommended. Very welcoming. Rooms spotless. Food was really 5 star. Very convenient for the Cape of Good Hope and for exploring the Cape Penninsula. Slightly quirky (another name for 'character') - I like that! You come here as a stranger and leave as a friend. If you regret staying here, you're certifiably crazy.
