Beautiful property and staff who made our stay wonderful over four nights. The setting is beautiful, the staff are wonderful and the pool is the warmest I’ve ever been in - which our seven year old daughter wouldn’t leave! The premier room was perfect and large to include our daughter and whenever we needed anything, staff were friendly and responsive to help. Trynn is lovely and the a la carte breakfast was a welcome change from breakfast buffets too. Small details could change - the pool area offers a very formal fine dining lunch menu rather than snacks (we had to ask repeatedly before someone agreed we could have a sandwich rather than a veal escalope for example!) and the pool area was often not staffed or had staff who don’t offer you a drink or get you a sub bed unless you ask. But these are minor details and didn’t detract from our stay at all.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here And I can honestly say it was better than the first time if that is possible. The staff are friendly and so accommodating. The breakfast is amazing and the Morii restaurant is a taste experience, well worth a visit. As a wheelchair user, the accessibility is perfect, our room did not look in least bit “ disabled’ yet it accommodated my needs. The guest experience manager, Mkho, organised a shower chair for me that made my husband Adam’s caring role much easier and more comfortable for me. Can’t wait to come back.

mm stay was as I wanted it to be, quiet and relaxing. The view from the balcony was unbelievably beautiful! The food was delicious, the room service and cleaning is perfect, everything was just as I needed it to be, and I would certainly plan my next visit to the same place.

Lovely stay at Newlands Peak Aparthotel. Quiet and clean location. The apartment itself is very modern and has everything you need. Everything looked brand new! The swimming pool on the rooftop is absolutely breathtaking. Very relaxing. Spacious place on the rooftop to workout and braai. Thank you for a great stay!

Stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks for work business nearby. What a good hotel served and supported by brilliant staff and a chef who cooks each and every meal top class. Reception team were helpful from arrival to departure. Housekeeping top notch with a daily bed sheet change. And then the restaurant, all meals top notch including the adjacent Indian restaurant. All the staff were lovely and helpful but special mention to Wayne who always went the extra mile to make you feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel and my only small downside was that I thought the shower and bath could be modernised a touch.

Was not a great start when we arrived at the gate with my European friend in a luxury car and the security asked me if I'm the Uber driver. Shocking And very uncomfortable does not mean because I’m a person of colour driving a luxury car that I’m a uber driving shocking please inform your staff accordingly. We had snacks and a drink in the leopard bar before going down the the restaurant for lunch drinks was good but I think a margarita should be served in a margarita glass not a whiskey glass it’s a 5 star hotel. The snacks and service was excellent. After we had lunch the service here was also excellent the manager very kind came to check up on us and our waitress Sisonke was just exceptional. Food was good nothing special fillet was overcooked. Lamb was really good. Deconstructed crème brûlée texture was a bit off and not smooth the creamy as it’s supposed to be over all we had a great time because of the amazing service In the restaurant. The hotel is in a good area, very close to the airport and convenient. There was striking when we were there, so the hotel was a little understaffed and our room was bot ready when we arrived, but the staff were very apologetic and friendly all way round. I’ll definitely stay there again.

This bed and breakfast is in the ideal location to visit Simon’s town and its coastline however the actual set up of the bed and breakfast is a huge let down. We arrived to find our room was not ready, once it was the place still looked unkempt, there was a bucket in the bath, the furniture had not been returned to its original locations well and the complimentary items seemed used. On our second night there was load shedding a common occurrence however there seemed to be no precautionary measures taken and we had to use our phone lights to climb the three flights of stairs to our room only to find the rechargeable light (obviously for such occasions) had no batteries and was therefore useless. As South African citizens we fully understand the uncertainty of power but for the cost and normal clientele of this accommodation we really expected there to be more in place. The meal times had been adjusted for the convenience of the staff who were on the premises compared to the welcome sheet details we received on arrival. The whole place seemed to be being run by support staff with no obvious manager on site for the three days we were there (we stayed over a weekend which I would assume to be a prime time) There is about 4 parking sports in front of the building but they were not being used to their full potential and often we had to park a little further away. Overall the location was the main positive. Considering the price we would have hoped to have better amenities and hope that the profile for this accommodation can be amended as there are no pools on the property unlike what the description had lead us to believe. Luckily the charm of Simon’s town and the beaches made up for the serious lack of attention to detail and luxury you would assume a place this price and in this location would have. 3/10 would probably not go there again.

The view is to die for, the service is excellent, unforgettable! The staff is helpful and very friendly. We are still reeling from the experience. As a group, we were well looked after and the place is neat and tidy. We were welcomed like true royalty. The experience was like a home, away from home! A true Cape Town gem! I recommend this establishment.
