I must be missing something, heard so many great things about this place but it truly was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Starter was cold and soggy main was so tasteless I couldn’t eat it. If you are going to serve garlic bread then at least put some garlic on it. Was there for a wedding earlier this year and the food was no better then

Check in was easy and friendly. Room was amazing comfortable bed pillows and furnishings and very clean. Stayed for one night as attended a wedding there. Bar and snack prices were very reasonable. We shared a cheese and pickle baguette that was huge and came with chips and salad. Amazing food again at the wedding reception all locally sourced. Breakfast was incredible juice tea coffee toast and full english breakfast again with locally sourced foods there was also fruit yoghurts porridge cereals/cereal bars. Would definitely recommend here for anyone coming to visit.

The Hotel is very well situated just off the M6 with plenty of parking, which felt safe and well lit. The rooms were large and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We ate dinner in The Barns Restaurant and both had really good meals. Breakfast was included in the price and of good quality. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, even though they were quite busy. We will stay again, thank you!

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish, from first enquiring about getting married nothing was too much trouble lots of information was given and they were very accommodating. John who was looking after us on our wedding was brilliant, the day went so smoothly if anything did go wrong I didn't know about it at all. The venue is beautiful, the rooms are lovely and the food was great. Thank you.

What keeps us coming back to the barns is the staff. I must say though the last two weeks, Amy has been running around like a headless chicken while another member of staff has been sat watching her and seeing how busy she is but not helping her. Not sure if he was early for her shift or not but how can you sit back and watch somebody struggle. I hope Amy receives the credit she deserves as she is fantastic at what she does and always makes you feel valued.

Great place to stay, very comfortable and big room with a great shower. The restaurant is nice and the breakfast was good. The only way it could have been better was with more options for breakfast and bigger portions but it doesn’t take away from the amazing experience. I’d stay here again when visiting friends.

The Barns provided an excellent funeral reception lunch. We received a very warm welcome from Jenny and were so well looked after throughout. The three course lunch was very good with very generous portions. We are also very grateful to Jenny for accommodating a specific request for a Serbian Orthodox wake. Nothing is too much trouble for the team at The Barns. The level of service is exceptional and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel for any kind of event.

Went with the partner for a lovely valentine's meal, we sat upstairs this time, really romantic ♥️ the Cajun prawn starter was delicious and the lamb shank with the dauphinoire potatoes were absolutely cooked to perfection 😋 the lovely Jenny looked after us! she is a fantastic head waitress.
