I was there on July 31 and sat outside with my dogs. They were busy and not enough waitresses/waiters to handle all the people; so much so the manager Makayla was my waitresses. Not only is she FANTASTIC at what she does, but she is an excellent person. She comp me my meal for taking to long to provide service. She totally refused a tip as well !!! She made me a loyal customer from that point on!! it wasnt being comp, it was how gracious she was and her professionalism!! I was so impressed. Its a busy place , so when you come here enjoy the place.....there are some great people that work here. I would and will recommend this place to everyone!!!

Should have trusted the not great reviews. This place is so neat, such a cool concept and TERRIBLE execution. We drove an hour and half for a fun couples night. The hotel staff working on 3/30 were SO rude. One staff member with long brown hair and nose ring TRIED SO HARD to compensate for her coworkers rudeness, pretty sure she even felt uncomfortable with how rude they were being. The museum was closed for a private event. We went to the restaurant, was told there was a wait and it’s better to sit at the bar. We had no where to go, so we didn’t mind waiting but weren’t really given an option. Food was good, bar backs and bar tenders were nice but I was really expecting a little bit more “beer knowledge” if you will. We went back to hotel section, and asked for the orange wheat beer we saw on the menu at the restaurant, they had NO idea what we were talking about and did not even attempt to converse about other beers. Sunday - McDonald’s breakfast is better, no bagels, no fruit, nothing- seriously one of the worst hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Museum closed again. All in all we paid $380 for one night, dinner and 2 beers a piece. Next time I might stay at the holiday inn and come over to enjoy the outside atmosphere.

This was an amazing place! Such a great atmosphere. There was a beer museum, restaurant, outside social area with two ponds, a dog park, a hotel lobby that serves beer, the coolest rooms, and the best minibars. There was a record player in the room with some vinyls included. A shower beer fridge in the bathroom. Tons of unique areas. In the morning they serve a nice buffet with a beermosa. Everything was reasonably priced and tasted amazing! We traveled with another couple and we all wanted to stay another night. We would love to return.

Cool concept. Dog friendly hotel, tap room and arcade. Drove 6 hours to meet up with friends who were also driving 6 hours to meet us. Morning of; we received a text that the tap room was closed so staff could be with their family for New Year’s Day. Hungover staff if you ask me. Since we were already in town and the room was booked a month before, we checked in to find out that not only is the tap room closed, the arcade is too. We were told that it would open at 11 the next day. We stayed and went next door to the tap room. The gift shop was open, but the bartender said they don’t open until noon. After complaining to the assistant manager, Devin, she said there was nothing she could do since we booked with a 3rd party. I called ******* explained my dissatisfaction with the very poor communication. The agent said she needed to get the approval from the hotel to credit yes. Again, poor communication as I was told that I needed to reach out to the 3rd party. ******* called and we were denied our credit from Brew Dog. The individual that ******* talked to said an email went out regarding the closing l, a text message went out and was also posted on social media. I did not receive any email regarding a closing, but we did receive a text the morning of our check in. We drove in the night before since it was 6 hours away. Extremely disappointed with Brew Dog, but happy ******* stood by our booking any credited us for the inconvenience.

Our family had a great stay at this location in Manchester Ohio, the group here made our furry son Hank feel right at home as well as my wife and I. I think it is fantastic for folks to create these places so that the entire family can vacation together . We recommend stopping in or staying g the night either way your in for a heart warming stay ,great food, brew and hospitality . This was our pups first road trip but will be back Thanks again to Devin and her working Family Hank,Steve ,Sandra

Staying at the Doghouse has been on our list for a while. Super cool hotel. We were presented a chocolate chip cookie and a beer at checkin. Our room was very clean. The bed, comfortable. The room had a guitar that you can play as well as a record player and some records. The bathroom had a "shower beer" mini fridge filled with a selection of Brewdog beers. Breakfast was just OK. I was most surprised by the fact that there was no EV charger for electric vehicles. For a company that promotes their carbon negative status, this seems like a no brainer.

The concept is awesome especially it being a dog friendly campus. Checking in was super easy and it was fun to explore the entire place from the gift shop, to the restaurant, to the hotel lounge and our room was really nice and had a lot of great details in the decor. We only stayed for one night and I bought the shower beer package which was fun, from those shower beers and the ones we picked up in the gift shop there was definitely plenty and we had a solid amount to go with us the next day. Even the little museum area where they go in great depth and details about the brewing process is fun! The food was solid, a bit pricey but wasn’t too bad. The staff was also super friendly as well and was readily available for questions/concerns. My only issue really is that I was charged $100 for in-room consumption, which I thought was kind of the point in a brewery hotel…..especially one that offers a shower beer package that’s listed at only $60. So in reality I payed $160 just for us to drink a couple small packs of brew. That was a pretty big turn off of considering to stay again.

Sorry in advance for the detailed review. #1 this is a very (one of the most) dog friendly hotels we have ever seen. If this bothers you, it’s probably best you seek staying elsewhere. This didn’t bother us, even though we don’t have pets. If you do, you can take them anywhere. Though the hotel, inside the hotel bar, your room, dog park etc. Every option that is given at the restaurant you can have at the hotel too. We had a horrible experience at the restaurant with bar wait staff, however every person working on the hotel side was amazing! We checked in with “Stan” (Kristan). Super mellow down to earth woman with a great knowledge in everything the brewery/hotel offers. At check-in: free beer. At 7pm free cookies and a beer, at breakfast: free beermosas and a full line of high end, locally sourced food. Vegan and non vegan options available. If your staying more than 1 night and reuse your towels: free beer. Everything the tiktok/YouTube/Facebook videos show this hotel has. There’s a record player and guitar in your room, trails all around, games in the bar/lobby/restaurant so you are instantly made comfortable being anywhere. Truth be told, I’m not even a beer drinker and still loved it here. Bars have non-alcoholic options as well as locally sourced distilled options for cocktails.

We just completed our first stay at the Doghouse Hotel and it was truly one of the greatest hotel experiences we've ever had. Because we love beer and unique experiences, we had high expectations and our stay surpassed every one of them. The moment we walked into the hotel bar/lobby area we were greeted by a friendly face and 2 "check-in beers"--you just can't beat that check-in experience. Over the course of the 3 night stay we made friends with all of the employees we encountered. Literally everyone was friendly, welcoming, and showcased genuine hospitality. The manager, Gilead, Tilly, and Andrew worked our entire stay and made us feel like part of the family. They interacted with our 9 month old baby and above & beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. We can't speak highly enough about the staff--they were just that good. We booked a double queen room and it was spotless and comfortable. Even though it's a dog-friendly hotel, there were no signs of pets in our room. The beds were super comfortable and we made use of the in-room guitar and record player. And if it's your first stay, we highly recommend the in-room keg and shower beers. It was A LOT of beer to drink over 3 days, but it was delicious and worth it. We really savored our room experience and have no negative feedback at all. Last, the room price includes breakfast with beer-mosas and a nightly "Stout & Cookie" happy hour. Both were incredible, and the breakfast food far surpassed our expectations. If you are a fan of beer and/or unique stays, then we HIGHLY recommend this hotel. This place is worth the hype and provide some incredible memories to bring back home . . . as long as you don't drink too much beer and forget.
