Double charged the room

This is a decent hotel for a reasonable price. Some parts of the room could have been cleaner but overall it was ok. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and good value. The evening meal wasn't so good - but you do get what you pay for and it was ok. The location is nice, Willen Lake is a nice walk and there are other things to do depending on when you go. We used the hotel as a base as we had lots of activities planned, and for what we paid it we really can't complain.

We always stay at this hotel when in Milton Keynes/Bedford and usually give hotel 5* review We booked a while ago and always book Premium Room due to the extras (fridge, better shower) and we had no problems with our room except soap dispenser next to sink was empty Our son decided last week to visit with us and when I tried to book his room there were no Premium rooms so he had to book standard The bed etc was comfy but he missed have fridge and separate shower He had an issue after having a bath whe. The plug was stuck in plug hole - we reported this to reception at 9am and when we returned at 5pm the issue has not been resolved He eventually managed (by using 2 teaspoons) to free the plug but no one from hotel came to fix it We will visit again (got 2 more visits booked) but were disappointed by lack of assistance this time

The breakfast that we paid for was terrible! The chef was slow, we had to wait for several items on the breakfast list. Only 1 item brought out at a time. And it seems the manager didn't really care as she was just laughing at the chef. Joke! We will not be returning and we most certainty won't be using the eating in option ever again. What a waste of money

Great hotel in the perfect location. Lovely to have Willen lakes on the doorstep which has a great park for keeping the kids entertained. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in MK! The room was lovely and clean and even had a little gift pack for the kids which was a huge hit, especially as it was my daughter's birthday!

Been coming here a while now, and wouldn’t look anywhere else to stay in MK. Staff/Reception/housekeeping are fantastically helpful. Room was cleaned by Georgina (318 Premier Plus Room) and was done to 10/10 job! As this is the room we always request, not a spec of dust found and free complimentary drinks on the house which was just needed after a hard days graft! Will defo be here again as its our go to for a short break away, not forgetting Willen Lake directly opposite with great family facilities. Very happy indeed,

The room was too hot The windows don’t open Also the thermostat didn’t seem to work so it was very uncomfortable Plus the lifts were out of action which also added more inconvenience sadly to our stay

And a great location. Quiet rooms, spotless and well looked after. Have to pay for car park but was £3.96 for 24 hours and car safe and seemed secure with cameras and good lighting.

The main 2 points. 1. Extremely helpful staff member who was there for a late check in, and next day check out. Huge shout out to Afia who on the day was extremely busy trying to arrange taxis for festival goers. Our taxis didn’t turn up on time but she continued to chase and all was resolved with her persistence. Thank you so much. She has a huge smile abcs was extremely helpful despite the stressful situation & busy day & was there first thing the next day with the same warm & happy greeting. 2. Great quiet location. Beautiful walks on ur doorstep. Rooms very clean. Breakfast time had to be pre booked. Didn’t like that initially but understood why when everyone else turned up after a late lie in! Felt secure & safe.
