Boutique Hotel H10 Punta Negra

Unfortunately the only thing that was 4star like was the size of the room. And the location. Badly maintained property, poor breakfast service, quite dirty pool area. Unfortunately we would not recommend this place, its not worth the money you pay. The ocean view is nice.

The enticing pictures on the website of the the rooms, grounds and beach were not what we encountered. We booked a duplex suite, and the room we were given looked completely different than the pictures shown. We felt we had been completely deceived. Our room was extremely dark, unmodernised, very noisy, right next to the kids pool, had a very small outside space and unappealing views. The air conditioning was not powerful enough to offer much relief from the heat and was extremely rattling and noisy. Many of the buildings on the grounds look tired and run down. The two beaches are tiny and very overcrowded, and largely taken over by loud teenagers. We give two stars instead of one because the room was clean, because the receptionists tried to find us an alternative room (the hotel was fully booked and the other available rooms were smaller and in an unappealing block with courtyard views) and because we were allowed to cancel and receive a refund for the remainder of the booked stay. We left first thing in the morning after the first night.

One of our favourite hotels to visit. A charming, peaceful hotel with beautiful grounds, two pools and access to two private beaches. Lovely sea view room, vast breakfast and a restaurant worthy of Michelin stars. Not to forget the lovely alfresco terrace there too. Soon to be redeveloped by the Mandarin Chain of hotels, it’s obvious why they chose this gorgeous location to invest such a vast sum of money to build their next premium hotel. Thank you to director Marcos, Heiki and all the super friendly staff. You all made our last stay at the Punta Negra as we know it most memorable and very special. Hope to see you there in the future. This hotel has such a charm that I am very sad to see it close forever :-( I had an incredible stay with my partner and we were able to visit Palmanova and Portals during these days. I want to make a special mention to Miguel who has recommended us beautiful restaurants with very nice views and he helped us. A professional from head to toe. Also to his partner María Jesús for her great professionalism. You should be proud to have them. The hotel is magnificent, the views incredible, the restaurant, I have no words to describe it, the staff, everything. It is a pity it has been sold. I hope that if I go to that hotel again, it will still have the same essence as this hotel.
