Dated and tired: better places similar price Old dated building and decor. Looking out over a building site. “Saving electric” so had to use mobile phone flash lights to get up stairs. Poor bar area

Property is in a good place and has a nice sized pool. Easy access to the beach and has a lift. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Couldn't really moan about the place itself. The only moan I would mention is that some of the people staying in the apartment where not considerate and would be shouting and banging all night. Mainly groups of Italian/dutch teenage girls screaming and getting drunk so I would say to the owner, please think about this and perhaps put these groups in an apartment to one side so they don't bother the other 8 neightbours they have. Other than this it was all very good.

Good afternoon we arrived late so informed econotel of late arrival and theye-mailed me to say no problem just ring bell once and night porter would be there to give us our key. We rang about 15 times over four and a half hours Eventually reception phoned to say they had missed all these calls.We were very very cold and were sitting in apts car park for almost 5 hours. Managemen told us we would be compensated for this by ******* as you had our bank and card details.PLEASE ADVISE AS VERY ANGRY AND VERY COLD WATCHING MY 76 AGED WIFE CRYING

I reserved and fully paid for 13 nights at Las Palomas Apartments Econotels in mid-August 2024, paying extra to allow for cancellation up until shortly before our trip. The night before our trip (just after the cancellation deadline), my wife had severe pains in her chest and was admitted to a hospital emergency room where she spent the night. As a result, our trip was cancelled, and she is not allowed to travel for several months. I immediately contacted Las Palomas Apartments Econotels to inform them that we would not be able to use the room and asking for an exception – that they accept to refund us in part or in whole, or at least consider giving us credit for a future stay. I provided them with documentation from the emergency room proving that this was due to a serious medical emergency. Las Palomas has refused to make any exception, and their consumer service people were, to put it nicely, brusk – showing no empathy whatsoever with our situation - unlike the 2 other hotels we had reserved. Note that they are currently sold out - it would be easy to sell the room to others (and I suspect that they have done so in any case). We would not consider returning to this hotel and would recommend that others consider looking elsewhere for their trips to Mallorca.
