Stayed here on my Camiño walk. It is not directly on the trail but the owners provide transportation to and from the hotel. This was a very special place. The entire facility is gorgeous. Such a comfortable stay. I ate dinner and breakfast there and the food was amazing. Very highly recommend!

Casal dos Celenis is a lovely hotel. The ambiance is incredible. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is amazing. This gem of a hotel is perfect for a relaxed time away or an intimate wedding.

Nice place with very poorly soundproofed comfortable rooms and remorse style decoration. The employee (a charming Dominican) is the only worthwhile thing about the staff. I booked for two nights. During the first one, I informed the employee at 8:10 a.m. that I should leave due to force majeure. The reaction of the manager (I don't know if she was the owner), a certain Chus, was spectacularly virulent, forcing me to pay for both nights and even wanting to charge me for breakfast for the day I wasn't going to be there. The matter is in the hands of the Xunta and surely of Justice. This Chus insulted and threatened my wife to make her pay for both nights. He is a character of medium height and thick build who exudes ordinariness. Whoever decides to stay there, must bear the consequences

Heavenly place, we feel so lucky to have found it. Chus is the perfect host, we loved our dinner of home-grown veggies and the generous breakfast. Highly recommended for a mid-Camino treat, we would love to come back

The house is beautiful. Good facilities and very cozy. The owners are very friendly and kind. You have a swimming pool that is very good for relaxing. What I didn't like was that the gardener had to mow the grass at nap time when in the morning there was probably no one home. The price of the menu doesn't seem appropriate to me either. Totally inadvisable. One of the diners was vegetarian and for a tomato salad and a boiled vegetable they charged her 33 euros!!! Which already seems expensive to me for the normal menu of a BONITO salad with peppers and tomato and stewed meat and dessert of custard or similar and homemade wine.

What a dreadful experience. We arrived after 35km on the Camino. The on ********** promised Restaurant was not existing. Afterwards I realised that i was already charged on my credit card(without my agreement). In addition i was charged 440 EUR extra by accident. Hopefully I will receive the refund soon. The employee Maria really tried to assist and reached out to the manager Paula. Paula promised to be there in 1 hour (never came) and we agreed to cancel the reservation. During the hole process, the manager hung up on me once and was not very helpful and even hostile. Finally we left to another hotel. Half the price, with food and friendly people.

I was on a pilgrimage on the Way of St. James and after a long stage I followed a recommendation here. It started off nicely but then... Mom is cooking a delicious meal tonight, they said on the phone / but unfortunately not because I hadn't told them the day before. Instead there was a small salad, some canned tuna with peppers and an omelette with cheese. No herbs, no slice of ham... not even an olive found its way onto the plate. A small yogurt from the supermarket rounded off "Mom's" dinner. Even the "complaint" to the American-speaking daughter only brought a "so sorry". Not that the Spanish guests got a sumptuous dinner - at least they left some of it back. My request to be taken back to town earlier the next morning was initially confirmed with "no problem" but then they said - it's not possible. The house is beautiful, the rooms are nice - a bit musty but 🤷‍♂️ and a beautiful garden area outside. In the pool, you could easily take out the vacuum cleaner if a guest wants to swim. But as a non-Spanish speaking guest, you are completely lost... It's a real shame and absolutely untypical for Galicia. In every pilgrim hostel, they tried harder. Not to mention the restaurants, cafes, etc. Unfortunately, I was charged more than was shown at *********** the next day. I can only advise - please avoid
