"Comfortable hotel, with attention to furnishings and details. Excellent breakfast, with both sweet and savory products, every day cakes prepared by the lady one better than the other with the possibility of choosing between at least 5 or 6 different types. For the savory omelettes, focaccias, pancakes or vegetable meatballs, salads,… all homemade. Overall, the breakfast is definitely worth the trip. The staff is also commendable, friendly and attentive without being intrusive, careful to ensure that the guest feels absolutely at ease and does not lack for anything. We reported some small defects in the room and they proceeded to implement the proposed improvements within the day. The room had a spacious balcony where there was a very pleasant breeze. The location is also very convenient: it is 5 minutes by car from the beautiful Saline beach with beautiful water. I absolutely recommend it also for the excellent quality/price ratio."

"We would especially like to once again thank Claudia and Jada at reception. They were an incredible help with our rental car problem. A BIG THANK YOU to these two angels! We would also like to particularly note the wonderful work of the room service ladies. The rooms were always very clean and well-maintained. In general, all the staff were particularly friendly and welcoming. No fake smiles, just ones from the heart, and we all felt that. Dinner was also top-notch. Exquisite dishes and beautifully presented. Excellent! Big praise goes to the kitchen and also to the service staff. We have stayed in many hotels, but the excellent staff at the Lu’Hotel Maladroxia are second to none!"

"We stayed for 2 nights and wished we had stayed longer. The staff are friendly and attentive. Rodney was so lovely and made us some amazing cocktails and the most delicious antipasto platter I have ever eaten. Our room was beautiful and had a small balcony overlooking the ocean. The beach bags and beach towels were a great touch also. (Reception have beach umbrellas to use which we loved also.) The rooftop bar and dining area are so incredibly beautiful and there perfect spot to have an afternoon drink as the sun sets. The little cove at the front of the hotel is the perfect spot for a swim and sun bake. Portoscuso is a cute little town with some nice restaurant options. I can't really think of any negatives, our stay was perfect."

"Poor communication and organization between the employees and commitment to the guests. I would arrive 1h, maximum 2h after the check-in was closed, and I called one day before to communicate it and asked if it would be a problem that I could cancel it. They said that it would not be a problem and that an employee would call me the next day. The next day nobody called, and when I landed at the airport, I called the hotel again to say that the flight was delayed and I would still take the car to travel to the city, and again I heard that it would be ok. In the end, the employee didn't wait for me, and the gates of the hotel were closed. The person simply left without waiting for me, didn't call, and didn't leave the key or any instructions. I was just locked out without any chance to enter and sleep in the hotel."
