I recently stayed at the hotel and while the location is excellent, my experience was marred by several disappointments. Location is great just a short walk from the stunning beaches and the lively town center, very good parking in the hotel. BUT rooms are not being cleaned well on daily bases, the team work in the hotel look not happy and the service can improve.

I stayed here for 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Firstly the staff are friendly and professional, the aesthetic is modern and clean, the rooms are spacious and bathrooms well appointed, the rooftop pool and bar is great the included breakfast is fabulous and the location is prime ( a few minutes to the beach), overall an outstanding stay in Byron bay.

The only place in Byron Bay with a classy rooftop bar. Popped in for a light eat and cocktail. WOW. Open bar so they make any cocktail you dream up. We went for coconut margarita- not very imaginative but so beautifully executed by our barman who was attentive, chatty (just the right amount) and made fab suggestions allowing me to try a few options for wine also. The antipasto platter we ordered was crazy good and just what we needed along with the best chips we’ve ever had. Incredible view. Stunning centrally located hotel that we’ll stay at on our next visit. Plus the bean bag movie night with popcorn for those without plans on a Wednesday night was a bonus . We’ll be back.

Perfect..rooms are spacious and well appointed...its trendy and the upstairs bar is fabulous...beds are so comfy and the team are so helpful. The music going through the Hotel creates a great vibe perfect for a weeks stay. The attention to detail ...little notes...sift fluffy towels...lux linen make this a spot you want to come back to over and over.

This modern style hotel is top notch! From the minute we walked in, staff had a warm and welcoming reception. While we waited for our room to be ready, the bartender provided us with a complimentary drink. The food was delicious and the chocolates for bedtime was a nice touch. The downtown hotel was well run in maintenance, design, customer service and great location near the beach. You won’t be disappointed at the Marvel Hotel

Incredible staff, sensational rooms, mouth watering food and the most impeccable service. Staying at Hotel Marvell provides the facilities, comfort and warmth that you'd expect from Byrons first 5 star hotel. And what's more, you don't have to leave if you don't want to. From the warmest of welcomes, to an incredible room, to the softest bed and the best in room tech, everything is so well thought out. Bonito is perfect for breakfast, coffee, and easy middle of the day meal or a delicious abundant dinner. The standout though was the team at all touch points. Reception, kitchen, dining, the lot. Nothing was a hassle and everything a pleasure. Thanks, cannot wait to be back.

We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Marvell. The staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Rooms were great. Loved the complimentary cocktail on arrival, the rooftop bar and pool area, the included breakfast and the easy complimentary parking. Relaxed luxury in a great location - just what we were after. I'd certainly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely place to stay in Byron! Great rooms, beautifully laid out, welcoming staff. Welcome sangria on arrival, home made chocolates before bed - homey touches in a high class hotel. Breakfast was lovely, and the ambience with the decor and the plants and vines in your room balcony and the side bar area gave the place a very chill vibe. Would definitely staff again!

The staff were considerate and attentive (on every shift and at all times), a fabulous experience from breakfast to the rooftop bar and pool in the afternoon. The room's balcony was light and comfortable, an easy place to be. Fabulous fluffy towels.
