Very spacious and clean room. But was told that room tv is only for show can't watch at all. The rest is very satisfied. If drive there don't go to carpark first. Park at the valet side and tell them u are checking in. I wasn't told to do that and cost me rm20 just for checking in.

Good location just a few minutes away from KL Sentral station and the NU mall with many eating options and shops. Also close to the Tun Sambanthan station. The room is ok, comfortable bed and very nice views. The shower was a bit confusing as there were 2 shower heads and it took me a bit to figure out that only the second and smaller one had hot water while the main tab was rather cooler. Also, while there was shampoo and body wash in the shower, there was no soap bar for the sink and we had to get into the shower every time we wanted to wash our hands which wasn’t great. Apart from that there is no much else in the room but no much more you need for a short stay. The best is the infinity pool in the 54th floor and the amazing views at night! What I like about this ‘apartment’ in comparison to other similar ones in airbnb is that there is a kind of reception where you can leave your luggage before and after.

Most Amazing view of the Petronas Twin Towers! They were aglow at night! So cool! Just across KLCC. Near convenience shop & hawker as well. The room was clean with basic amenities if you want to cook. Have Netflix but no YouTube. Seniors have their habit of watching their stuff on YouTube. At the rooftop pool, the towers are right up your nose! The KL Tower can be seen at the top as well.
It would have been nice of there were seats at the reception so the seniors could sit while we wait our turn for checkin.
I’d book there again for the view and convenience!

My experience of spending my new year’s eve at the hotel was very disappointing. I personally will never ever come back again.
In our first room, the biggest issue we faced was that the aircon in the room did not work, and stayed at a constant temperature of 22 degrees celcius even when we adjusted the temperature to the extreme high of 40 degrees. The maintenance team came down on the second day and it was not resolved. We feed-backed to the hotel manager and she assigned us our second room, which had the same issue and we had to call the maintenance team down again. We were also faced with a few new issues of cleanliness such as dirty table tops (e.g. toothpaste residue in the toilet, random hair lying around and in the kettle), and being unable to connect to wifi after the room change. We wasted about 2 hours communicating with different staff teams and trying to settle into our new room. It was exhausting and such a waste of my precious holiday.
Another very unpleasant experience I had was regarding viewing of countdown fireworks. When I asked the front desk about free access to the skydeck, the receptionist said that I have to pay a cover charge of RM250 for entry after 10pm on new year’s eve because they would be having a countdown party event. I was really upset about paying a premium price for the hotel rooms in order to gain complimentary access to the skydeck but needing to pay an extra amount for entrance just because it was new year’s eve. I asked the manager about this, and they confirmed that hotel guests could still access the skydeck for free. But even on the day itself, the staff at the lift lobby kept saying that I had to pay RM150 to enter. It was as if they were trying to lead the hotel guests into thinking that they have to pay an additional price to gain access to the skydeck. I was about to blow up before another staff came over to say that hotel guests could go in but we just wouldn’t be given any drinks. We didn’t care about drinks anyway, so why couldn’t they just let us go in after we showed them our room cards?? After we finally made it in, I was disappointed to find the gym closed because it had one of the best views of the twin towers. The staff themselves knew that too, and all went into the gym to take clear videos of the fireworks while we were on our toes struggling to even see the fireworks among the crowd outside. I know staff can have their own privileges but I can’t help but be unhappy about it because just the previous day my partner and I were in the gym discussing about how it had the perfect view and we could exercise while waiting for the fireworks. There were no signs that said the gym would be closed then, so we assumed that it was opened on new year’s eve as well. Fireworks were nice but I was so upset about the situation that I wasn’t able to enjoy it thoroughly.
There were also other few areas that bugged me somewhat, but were not the dealbreakers (such as the body lotion being spoilt and smelling sour, or the soap dispenser being very hard to press down, or that there was only one chair in the room and we couldn’t figure out how to sit together while eating in our room, or dirt marks on bathing towel). The wifi in the room was really annoyingly slow (videos get stuck every 2 seconds), and we did feedback to the reception but they could only inform the IT team and nothing else could be done about it.
Ofcourse there are plus points, such as the nice fruit plate that were given to us for our anniversary, the big room, the toiletries that were of good quality, good breakfast spread, and friendly staff. As much as I appreciated it, it did not make me feel better because these are part of my expectations for a five-star hotel.
Perhaps I had expectations too high for the hotel just because it is a five-star, and may be way too subjective in my review. But all in all, I will not be coming back again.

DDrea JaneI recently had the pleasure of staying at DoubleTree, and I can't praise it enough! The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. The convenience factor is off the charts, with a shopping mall right inside the hotel. This made it incredibly easy to indulge in some retail therapy and find great places to eat.
The variety of restaurants within the hotel is impressive, catering to all tastes and preferences. Plus, the staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
One of the best parts? The hotel is just a stone's throw away from the iconic KL Twin Towers. It was fantastic to be so close to such a famous landmark.
DoubleTree truly offers everything you need for a wonderful stay—cleanliness, safety, convenience, and top-notch service. I can't wait to return!

RRlmeI had a horrific experience staying here. To be fair, let me share what’s good about this place:
1. Close to KL Sentral station (5-7 mins walk)
2. Very friendly and helpful staffs
3. Spacious gym and sufficient equipment
4. Sound proofing rooms
5. Water pressure and comfortable bed and pillows
6. They have filtered water in the room
What ruined the entire stay was the centralised aircon!!! We were assigned 2203 and tried adjusting the room temperature but it did not work, we were freezing and called the engineer to check and was told that the room was 17 degree although the control panel was showing 25! He made some adjustments and told us to wait for 10 mins but after 15 mins the room was still freezing cold. We requested for a room change and had to shift luggage and room at 11:40pm (the staff was very helpful though). After changing to 1702, the first night was okay but the room has a very strange curry smell. It was not a deal breaker so we endured the smell. But the second night when we were back and tried adjusting our room temperature to 25 degree it did not work again! I tried wearing two layers of clothes and couldn’t take it anymore and called them at 2am. The wind was blowing directly to my head and I couldn’t even sleep. There were issues with the aircon system (they use chilled water instead of gas) and the technician spent 30 mins to troubleshoot and resolved the temperature and wind direction issue. Finally I could sleep at 3am but it was such a horrific experience! My 2 out of 3 nights stay were ruined because of the aircon issue!!
On top of that, we wanted to use their shuttle service on Sunday but was told that their car was sent for servicing and it’s not available. Asked the staff if the shuttle service will be available the next day but was told to check again the next day as they can’t confirm.
Will definitely not go back again or recommend to any friends or family to stay there. There’s no nice restaurants nearby (mostly Indian food) and 7-11 is located 6 mins walk from hotel (nearest one only opens during office hours).

AAnonymous UserWe enjoy our stay here at Grand Millennium Hotel as the service is great and the staffs are helpful especially the one on the front desk named Ilham. I appreciate his kindness. As we check in quite late at about 4.30pm , but our room is still not ready so the manager decided to upgraded our room to the classic one. We appreciate the gesture. Thank you Grand Millenium for the excellent service. Hope to come here again.
GGuest Userit was my second time here after 6 years ago and u came with my husband & childrens, amazed it because was still good as before. and it is near to shopping mall only walking distance so easy to access. thank you to the hotel staff with your kindness of helping us for the clear information about what we’ve asked for. thank you too for the free baby cot on request, i love it ☺️👍🏻
TThe ElliscopeMy parents and I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur city center. The hotel is well-located, with easy access to key attractions and public transport. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, offering great value for the price. My parents especially appreciated the generous breakfast selection, which helped them start the day off right. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great choice, and my parents were very happy with the experience. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur!

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is connected to mid valley mega mall. Is very convenient for people who likes to shop and a place to rest after shopping and dining. There is no water bottle in the room as they are going green and gives you a pitcher to collect water from the dispenser at the lift lobby. I like this idea but feels it could be better if the dispenser has hot water as well .
Service is good and check in and out hassle free. The only not so good point is the room size. Is extremely small and I feel it even asa solo traveller.

AAdrianNRA fairly nice hotel in a good location near a Spartan rave venue I was racing at. The highway by the hotel room was a bit noisy and the lighting inside the room wasn’t great as I could simply have one bedside light on by itself. However, the bathroom was nice and the best was comfortable.

VVithiaBooked the hotel for the name of the hotel since it is located in the central of KL. Was unappealing with the room booked because it was not clean especially the toilet. The toilet wasn’t equipped with a water shower instead of the old shower head with 2 different temperature. The bed had blood stain as well. The front desk staff was friendly upon check in. The hotel provides free parking for the guest. There are convenience store nearby which is supposed to open 24 hours, yet closed when visited at 7am. Only the Lobby looked new, not the rooms.
