You can experience traditional Japanese relaxing time at this accommodation. They have a lot of separated Onsen rooms, and some could be locked by yourself as a private bath room. I recommend you to try some Onsen. You can also eat local dinner with a lot of dishes. The bed room is cover with Tatami which is a Japanese straw mat, and the Tatami is comfortable with your barefoot. Also no bed, you have to sleep on Japanese rug Futon. The facility is enough clean as well. I would like to stay again the accommodation when I will re-visit Kurokawa Onsen village. 静かな温泉街のステキな旅館。1泊だけでしたが、とても満足度の高い時間を過ごす事が出来ました。 この旅館にはたくさんの露天と内湯温泉があり、そのうち宿泊者用の家族風呂が10近くあります。部屋数も多くない旅館なので、ほぼ必ず楽しむ事が出来るでしょう。湯温もちょうどよく、家族風呂をはしごして楽しみました。 食事も素晴らしく、とても美味しい熊本料理を楽しめました。料理の質はかなり高かったと感じました。 仲居さんは研修生と書かれた、若い男性でしたが、対応も説明もしっかりこなしてくれて満足です。 また黒川温泉に来る機会があれば、お世話になりたい、そう思える時間でした。

It was a quiet inn a little far from the center of the hot spring town. There seems to be a transfer service to the center of the hot spring town. You can go to the center in about 15 minutes on foot on the slope. I stayed in a Mezzone type room. On the 1 floor, there is an inner bath and an open-air bath, a washroom and a toilet, and a massage machine, so you can spend it with nonbilli. The inner bath and the open-air bath are connected by the door, but the underside of the door is open, and the washing place of the inner bath was cold this season. There were other large open-air and rental open-air baths, and I enjoyed the bath. Dinner was very delicious and satisfied with both mass. The service is well served and it is a popular inn. There were many breakfasts and rice, and of course the rice was delicious and satisfied. I think it was a good inn because I want to be nonbillied in the inn. I want to stay in a flat house type room this time.

The Yamanami highway runs to Beppu area, and it turns to the left side of Kurokawa Onsen from the intersection with national route 442 where the rest house of Seno is located. Since several years ago, national route 442 has changed to a new road, and it is easy to run with a margin of road width. This inn is ”Ryokan Wakaba”. There seems to be a lot of guests in GoTo travel, and there is no space to stop in the free parking lot, so the key is left at the front desk. The night meal is room meal. When you sit in the seat and look at the drink menu, the drink using ginger seems to be delicious. When Nakai comes, you order ”ginger sweet sake” which is said to be the least alcohol. The dishes are also carried in good procedure. The dishes unique to Kumamoto are delicious, such as frost horse stab and red chicken after Kumamoto miso beef. However, Yakiniku in the room smells on the clothes. Breakfast is usually served in the hall on the first floor, but it is a lunch box in each room to prevent corona virus infection. Rice is cooked with a cherry blossom using shichijo rice, and the side dish is a delicious morning rice called 'rokuhon of kokokugo' and 'miso soup of shichijo rice, tsukitake and Minami Seki fried rice. The inn was friendly and the response was good and the hot spring was pleasant.

Enjoyed the central location by the river in Kurokawa Onsen. Friendly and helpful staff who served us on English. The ryokan has got nice onsen facilities and is close to other even more attractive onsen experiences. In the nearby tourist information, you can buy a three stamp ticket (cool wooden plate) that allows you entry in other onsen facilities. Nice breakfast and dinner was served - but, maybe time to level the meals up a bit although the service from the staff and surroundings was very nice.

The staff will move you to the parking lot a little far away. The lobby, lounge, and front desk are on the ３ floor, and the wooden building makes you feel warm. The room I stayed in was on the ２ floor of the new building. １０ It feels wide even in a Japanese-style room with tatami mats. It is also nice to have a four-tatami service room with a digging. The water of the river flows nearby, and the sound of the water clears your heart. The large communal bath is on the １ floor, the indoor bath and the open-air bath, both of which are equipped with natural stones. The quality of the spring is colorless and odorless salt spring. There is no feeling of slimy, but the body warms up to the core. Dinner • Breakfast is full of content. Dinner is a course meal. Every dish is really delicious because it makes full use of the characteristics of seasonal ingredients. The salt-grilled salmon is salty and very fat and delicious. There was also a cherry blossom for breakfast, but it is tempura, so it seems that the taste is different from the cherry blossom for dinner and eating another river fish. Even if you use the same ingredients, you can realize that if the cooking method changes, the taste changes like magic. The rice was also very delicious. The grains of rice 々 stand and shine is evidence of delicious rice.

GGuest UserStaffs were super friendly and helpful. Free pick-up service from the bus stop. As we arrived before check-in time, the driver dropped us at the main street and showed us where to eat and how to walk back to ryokan. The ryokan kindly offered us early check-in. Luggages were in the room already when we arrived. Front desk staff explained everything clearly. We could only book the private onsen once. Private onsen number one is a bit small, and the water was not hot enough, but the view is pretty with a small garden and rock mountain. I love the large outdoor onsen (for hotel guests only). Water was hot. Beutiful environment and great atmosphere. Changing room was clean and spacious. The smaller outdoor onsen is for public. Room was a bit old and simple, but it came with a cute balcony which I didn't expect. Food was great. Dinner was served in room, and breakfast was served in breakfast room. Overall a great ryokan experience.

When I arrived on the day, an employee was waiting in the parking lot and immediately carried my luggage. Afterwards, we were shown to a room and given an explanation while eating sweets. If possible, we would like to eat from 6 o'clock, so we moved to a private room and had dinner. My daughter wanted to eat horse meat sashimi, so I asked the waiter and he said it would cost 3,800 yen for about 5 slices per person, so I thought it would be ok to have one serving, but I thought it would be a little too much so I ordered two servings. , what was brought was not five pieces of horse meat, but four times the amount of horse meat on one plate. While I was wondering what this was all about and saying that one plate was fine, the waiter left the room and left the room. My husband hates conflicts, and although my daughter didn't say anything because I was going to eat, I am angry that there was no explanation or apology. It was very noisy when the dishes were put down, which is a shame because the other employees had a good attitude. The indoor bath was hot and the outdoor bath was lukewarm and cold, so I couldn't stay in it for long. There was a coffee machine in the room so we were looking forward to it, but it didn't suit our tastes. It was a tatami room, so I had a futon, but since I only had one futon, my back hurt because I wasn't used to it, probably because I usually sleep on a bed.

GGuest UserA quiet remote inn in Okukurokawa. There are only 8 rooms in the vast land. Because each room has a bath, I don't meet people in the large open-air bath, and I rarely meet people in the hotel. The room is a calm Japanese-style room. The floor I stayed on was on the 2nd floor, but when I opened a door, I went down the stairs to the 1st floor from here and went to the indoor bath. The bathroom is filled with steam and is a hot spring that flows directly from the source. The service is also substantial. Welcome fruit was prepared in the refrigerator. The food is also vegetables from the home vegetable garden and locally produced Japanese beef. The rice is also delicious with locally produced ”Akigeshiki”. It was a satisfying hotel in everything.

UuzazaWe stayed for 2 nights in December 2019. The room has a bath, and the sulfur smell is a source hanging water that seems to be very effective, with the flowers of the fragrance hot water. I entered the hot spring many times during my stay, but my shoulders and back became lighter and I realized the effect. I think it is a great hot water. The room is not large, but the ceiling is high and there is no feeling of pressure. The interior was rural and did not match their hobby, but I was able to spend comfortably. The hot spring was great and the room was comfortable, so the service was outstanding. Overall, I felt that the staff was not working to meet the needs of the guests, and that it was an operation importance to turn efficiently. If guests stay at this inn, they need to match a considerable part of the inn side. I think there is no way to be a lower price range inn, but if you ask for this price, you should provide such services according to the needs of more guests. If you maintain the price now, I think you should increase the number of employees and make a fine service or lower the price if you are a service now. I was worried about the following points. • I arrived 30 minutes before check-in. At that time, check-in was from 15 o'clock, so I was told that I was not given an option and was driven out. I knew later, but there were only three guests on that day, and the cleaning staff said that they were finished until the final inspection of the room by 12 o'clock every day. Then, I was happy to have considerations such as waiting in the lobby at least. • The accommodation procedure is performed by guests. I think it is rare in this price range inn. It's a small thing, but I'm worried. • The explanation of how to use the room was also insufficient. It's dangerous if you don't explain the caution because you use a gas stove. • Dinner is 18:00 or 18:30. There is no other choice. It was too early for us. • The dinner course was delicious with beef from Kumamoto Prefecture. I felt that it was not suitable for the price of 12000 yen per person. The chef was also like one person, and it was an efficiency-oriented menu. • There are already appetizers before you arrive at the table of meals. I was careful not to dust off my jacket. • Breakfast is also a choice of 8:00 or 8:30. The most surprising thing was that I wanted 8:30, but around 8:05, I called to prepare breakfast. Is it coming early? • When I checked out, I asked me to carry two suitcases and shoulder bags, but I was refused because I couldn't carry the bag. • Especially, the male staff who was called the chief was not enthusiastic or I didn't feel the feeling of hospitality to the guests at all.
