With my business work, I stay at hotels all over the world .... This ranks as one of the worst I've stayed. After ringing and knocking for over 20 minutes, I managed to gain access to the locked doors .It then took me another 15 mins of wandering around the hotel floors looking for staff.... I was then shown to my double room by the manageress ( who had a very unpleasant manner) to a tiny room with very dated decor and a TV no bigger than an Ipad. I asked if she had a better room but was told she only had the master suite available, and it would cost a further £80 a night on top of the normal room rate. I was tired and agreed. In my honest opinion, it could never be classed as a suite by any stretch of the imagination as it was only one room. It was quite a spacious room with a large TV,fridge and a sofa and chair but no way a suite. The decor reminded me of my grandmothers house in the 1980s.The bath was chipped and had numerous repairs as shown in pics. The food was poor and overpriced. The young barman was the only smiling face we saw during our stay, and was always happy to help. I checked out a day early, as it was so dreadful. To put into context, it was even worse than a motorway travelodge
