The hotel is quaint and connected to the botanical garden behind, quiet. A little further is the zoo. Next to it is the famous ISKENDRE restaurant, which only has one dish, normal or large portions, and there is a queue every day...

The hotel had a fire in the middle of the night and we had to evacuate ourselves at 3 AM in the night in an emergency and leave all our bags inside the room. We ended up waiting till 5:30 AM for the fire to subside and then access our luggage. A temporary accommodation was provided for the morning by the hotel, but overall it was a bad experience during our trip.

Perhaps our stay was off-season, but all of the hotel's services were easily accessible. No wellness, no restaurant and breakfast was an absolute tragedy. The furniture in the room was falling apart. TV, air conditioning and water supply did not work. Far and wide no possibilities to do anything. We were very disappointed. So far the worst hotel we had booked.
