Northcote Manor

My Daughter and I visited for a much needed pamper day. We decided to add on a nights stay to have a whole pamper day. We started in the spa with a delicious cream tea ( mine gluten free and absolutely delicious!) We enjoyed using the spa which was quiet and really relaxing. We had lovely treatments in the spa which were so relaxing and we felt very pampered. After the spa we were taken to our room Which was beautiful, very tastefully decorated and we settled in. the shower was so powerful it was lovely! Our bed was very comfy and we had a great nights sleep. Our dinner was absolutely delicious and they had remembered I was gluten free and adjusted my food without me having to keep asking. The food was delicious and well seasoned and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a lovely evening. Breakfast was plentiful and there was so much choice. I’d like to thank the staff for their very warm welcome, and particular thanks to the ladies in the spa who made us feel so pampered and relaxed- you have no idea how much we needed that. If you’re looking for a nice indulgent stay with delicious food and welcoming staff look no further.

We try to visit this fantastic hotel twice a year to relax and we always feel very welcome. Staff are lovely and very friendly and the food is exceptional. Rooms are always spotless. We always visit the spa for a swim and it is never over crowded. We will be back again soon.

Here for a gourmet weekend. Food excellent but best thing about this hotel are the wonderful staff. Unfailingly helpful and pleasant. Wonderful warm welcome on arrival and it was uphill from there. And apparently their amazing chefs are the non shouty kind and hugely skilled especially the pastry chef. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

We called in to the hotel after a long journey. Having check on bar food times beforehand, when we arrived we were seated in the lounge area with a small low table. However we were told that there was no was available food at all including sandwiches or afternoon tea. In fact apparently no food of any kind available in the hotel, which does advertised bar meals. Very disappointed. We will never return. Very odd!! We have have stayed in many 5 * hotels in our lives, but this was quite shocking.

Another amazing return trip to this beautiful place, where you can fully relax and unwind along with receiving most impeccable service. We love staying at Northcote Manor and stay in the Wisteria Suite which is in the wing of the hotel and the room is just gorgeous. The staff are extremely polite and courteous and nothing is ever too much trouble. The Michelin Star Chef, Rickie Herkes, well what can we say ...some of the finest cuisine we have ever eaten and we have dined in many fine restaurants all over the world. A big thank you to all of the amazing staff but especially to Mitchell and Simon for making our stay so enjoyable. We will be returning before the end of the year! Thank you!

I was looking forward to an afternoon tea with friends. The setting was very pleasant as were the staff. However, the afternoon tea, was in my opinion, ALL shop bought! The scones were black on the bottom and dry, the cakes were small and clearly processed and were not of a varied selection, the drinks offered were simply tea or coffee with no other selection available. We also were seated on a low sofa, a table would be much more preferable for a group of older ladies. Rather disappointing!

We stayed at Northcote Manor for our wedding anniversary. We had an amazing meal, followed by a very relaxing stay and a lovely breakfast. We found the staff all incredibly friendly and welcoming, they were very attentive and nothing was too much. The Manor is in beautiful grounds and the attention to detail made our stay very memorable. Thank you

We have just returned from 4 nights in this lovely hotel. The hotel is very comfortable and relaxing. The bedroom, Azalea, was spacious, well equipped with two armchairs, bath robes, etc. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and the evening meals were delightful, well presented with different specials each day. The staff are very friendly and this extended to the Spa. Special mention of Louise who always had a smile and a friendly chat and over the course of our stay appeared at breakfast, the Spa and evening meals. The Spa is excellent from the swimming pool to the jacuzzi and offered great treatments. Mollie providing relaxing massages. Behind the Spa is a terrace where we were fortunate enough to sit with a beer in the sunshine overlooking the beautiful countryside.

The place itself is really nice and the staff are really friendly but it’s really out dated as a 22 year old this place felt like I was in in the 70s we didn’t ask for mushroom soup and was served that as a stater also as it was my birthday they said they would decorate the tables and put 3 confetti on the table witch was disappointing and then served carrot crake which my friend is allergic too not the best standards and then was told can have it for breakfast the rooms are really dated as well not that impressed with the standards
