Holiday Inn Express Burnley M65, Jct.10

Team service was excellent, great communications when needed. Room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. Only slight negative was the eating area size, got busy quickly but luckily we came to have breakfast earlyish.

Lovely, clean and very pleasant helpful staff. Food delicious.

Dire, terrible staff, rude indifferent, under resourced, no concept of service. No one on reception, my room was downgraded, the restaurant was chaos with queues of frustrated and dissatisfied customers. Bay far and bar none, the worst ever holiday inn I have ever stayed at.... Avoid....

The hotel was very clean the staff was amazing especially Emily on front desk that booked me in she was very polite, friendly food was great would most definitely stay again would be a pleasure to stay longer room was big and very comfy good Location

I'd like to award 3,5 dots tbh! This is a mixed review as there were some really good elements but some less so... The bar and public areas are modern and welcoming and the rooms are fine; I had twin beds and would have preferred a double as I was here for 5 days but when requested- this was ignored. Shower was okay- always hot water but the room was not cleaned adequately during my stay; this is unacceptable as I paid a nightly rate and should have been treated like a fresh visitor each day- my bedding was not changed at all; glasses were left in my room for two days and in the end I took them downstairs to the bar, the tea tray was not refreshed every day either.Wet glasses left marks on the table and these were there for the 5 days. Yes- I can ask- but should I have to? Evening meals are uninspiring; £3.50 for a ramekin of coleslaw as a side seems expensive IMO.If you are away on business then you have to eat at the hotel and they really could up their game a little. Drinks are typical prices- 2.95 for half a lager and about 7.50 for a glass of wine. As others have said, the AC is VERY loud and noises from other guests can be heard with the morning bangs starting at about 5.30am.I had a room overlooking the carpark so this was at least void of road noise. However- shout out to Lisa who was genuinely personable and engaging and made my stay much better, as well as another blonde haired lady- Kirsten? and a dark haired lady- sorry I didn't see your name. The male manager who was present when I checked out was also friendly and warm. Would I stay again if I needed to? Yes- but I hope that these issues would not be repeated.

Last minute decision to visit relatives. Never stayed here before but will certainly be staying again when up in Burnley next. First impressions are very good. Reception staff very friendly & helpful & our room was very comfortable & spotlessly clean, as was everywhere. All of the staff were exceedingly friendly (well they are northerners) and helpful & when we went down for breakfast, we were amazed at the choices on offer & everything was top quality & most importantly, the cooked food was hot & was replenished promptly. In fact it was better than some top hotels have on offer. We stayed for 2 nights & had a really good nights sleep in the firm, but comfortable bed. Would give them 10/10 for everything.
