Beautiful stay for two nights. Very nice room and the food was to a very high standard. The staff were very helpful and the owners of the hotel dined in the restaurant on one of the night's with all visitors and made sure everyone was well catered for.

I can honestly say this is the worst 4 star hotel I have ever stayed in. There is nothing about the Great Northern that merits retaining a 4 Star rating. The staff were the only redeeming element of our stay. Everyone was friendly and professional but the owners are doing them a terrible disservice by not investing in the infrastructure. The decor is decades outdated. As mentioned by other patrons, the bathrooms are a disgrace, we didnt even have running water in our sink or bath and the only assistance the staff could offer was to suggest we shower in the Leisure Centre when it opened the following morning. The breakfast offering was akin to a greasy spoon, pre-cooked and like cardboard from sitting under heat lamps. No pastries/croissants which should be fairly standard fare. Definitely don't plan a return visit and I would have to think twice before choosing another hotel from this group.

We had a lovely night away over the Christmas break. Our room was huge with sea views and a lovely bottle of wine in the room. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and the dinner was really delicious. Great location right by Roguey and close to the centre of town. Our shower temperature control was broken so deducting minor points for that. Overall a great stay in a grand dame in Bundoran

Enjoyed our night away. Pool is nice, jacuzzi stream room sauna all good although it’s all quite dark. Windows had been opened on my return to the change room so quite cool

Joli cadre mais hôtel d’une autre époque
Hôtel vieillot avec pas mal de choses à réparer ou nettoyer!
Le petit déjeuner n’est vraiment pas terrible, rien de très bon et très peu de choix.
La clientèle un samedi soir fut très bruyante jusqu’au milieu de la nuit, et avec des portes qui laissent passer tous les bruits nous avons mal dormi….

Cosy traditional hotel
Comfortable hotel, very well located. Some of the waiting staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful.

Great stay
Great stay. The room was large and comfortable. Close to Bundoran Beach and fun fair. Hotel pool facilities has sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. Pool temperature was a bit cold.
