Hotel Baia Del Porto ★★★★

📍 Via delle Magnolie, 07051 Porto, Porto Ottiolu

"Fantastic hotel with excellent and attentive staff and delicious food. The extensive buffet has something for everyone including a small section just for kids. We travelled as a larger family with children of varying ages. It was perfect for all of us. The large pool and golden sands at the beach means there is enough to do for children of all ages. A short walk to the port is fun with bars, ice creams and cafes. You get and older children had plenty to do on the new h, local go-karting, snorkeling and walks round the head land. We look forward to going back next year."

Residence Oasi Anfiteatro ★★★

📍 Via delle Camelie, 7/25, Porto Ottiolu

"I've been waiting and saving for a little while to give me and my kids nice break from hectic life and what I've met was extra charge of 226euro from hotel, rolling eyes on loveholidays no working swimming pool and answer there's a see near by. Don't advertise it then in your offer. You'd expect at least toilet paper if you paying all that money but you have to buy all cleaning stuff himself."

Porto Ottiolu Resort

Porto Ottiolu Resort ★★★

📍 Via delle Camelie, 7/25, Porto Ottiolu

"A pretty place with a quaint harbour where all the action is, alongside a private beach and public beach. Good bus routes which are reasonably priced but the buses do run a restricted service due to a daily 5 hour siesta. Not lots to do in the sense of shopping but some nice places to eat and nice walks. Quiet during the day but comes alive at night with music and some lovey stalls from the locals."

MClub Budoni ★★★★
"There’s some great things about this place and some not so good. It’s pretty remote, so if you like going for a walk and visiting a few shops/restaurants then you will need a hire car. Taxis are very expensive, €35 return to Porto Ottiolu (6 min drive), we went again on a Friday, same trip €70??? No idea why. If you’re happy staying on site then this won’t be a problem. The resort is long and thin so you’ll get some steps in which we didn’t mind, pool and evening entertainment at the top end of the resort, main restaurant in the middle and beach at the bottom obvs. There’s also an ala carte pizza restaurant and bar near the beach end (no beach bar though) The beach itself isn’t the greatest, move further along for better sections. The hotel’s area is seaweed and rock heavy. Rooms are average and aged but relatively clean, bathroom and shower elements had limescale/scum build up around them. There’s regular power cuts on the resort, longest lasted around 5 minutes but most just a 30 second blip. I felt sorry for the evening entertainment having to pick songs up half way through 😂 Pool area is clean and great access for drinks at the bar. There is a food caravan at the pool but this is a bit of a joke. One chef in there trying to cater for a lot of guests. If you order you are told 40 minute wait regardless. You’re not told if your food is ready, just have to go up and check and sometimes it’s been ready for a long time and it’s now cold. Elements of your order are missed as they’ve inevitably been handed out to someone else. Just get a simple ticket numbering system and call it out. One chef used his hand to scoop fries onto the plates, it’s sweaty in there too. I stopped using it as was unwell for a day afterwards. The food in the main restaurant was excellent, all fresh home cooked local dishes, seafood etc. If you’re after chicken nuggets or burger and chips, you won’t get it here. Desserts were good. Ice cream for the kids, wipe the scoop after taking it from the water bowl as the ice cream turns to soup after a few visits. Service in the restaurant was pretty patchy, some days you are taken to a table as you enter, table re-set out, table water provided, drinks order taken. Other times, which was the vast majority for us, you find your own table and are just ignored, we had to get our own cutlery sometimes and flag someone down to order drinks. Not overly bothered but it just seemed strange and worth flagging, maybe someone dedicated front of house would help co-ordinate it all."

Tenuta Lu Baroni ★★★
"I met Michele and Giovanna on holiday in Trentino and by pure chance, they told us about their new adventure. Well what can I say, it's all real. The B&B is in a strategic position on Porto Ottiulu, where in a few minutes by car you can reach everything, both the best beaches (Cala Brandinchi, Lu Impostu, Capocodacavallo), supermarkets, basic necessities, etc. Another point of excellence goes to Mrs. Rina, who is very attentive to everything and who made us breathe clean air every time we returned to the room and the common areas were always tidy, clean and elegant. The breakfast was rich in everything from sweet to savory, nothing was missing. A special thanks goes to Giovanna and Michele who were able to satisfy our every need. I believe that places and people like this remain in your heart, we will definitely be back. A big hug Giorgia, Davide and Tommy"

Hotel Baia Del Porto ★★★★
"Such a chilled holiday, amazing hotel, 5 min walk to the beach and sun loungers/umbrellas available on private area. It was spotlessly clean - staff were so friendly and helpful. Simone on reception to waiting on staff - Bianca, Silvia and Flecia x Room was great - again spotlessly clean. We had a fridge and balcony. Air conditioning was a god send - able to sleep at night. Food in the restaurants was plentiful- lots to choose from - various pastas- meat, fish and cheese, antipasti. So many desserts to choose from along with fresh fruit/salad. Breakfast is buffet style - coffee/juice/ tea /water all available. Cereals/yoghurts and fresh fruit. Pastries also available alongside eggs/bacon/ toast. We took an excursion to San Theodoro which cost 30 euros - coach was a 300m walk away so not far. Drops you off in the centre and same pick up point a few hours later. Lots of different market stalls, gelato shops and plenty of bars/restaurants. We stayed full board plus - value for money. Has been the most relaxing holiday ever - will definitely be returning. Grazia Mille Baia Del Porto x"

"The rooms are very basic with limited facilities to use, so only suitable as room only. However toilet didn’t work and pool was unusable. They relocated us but never checked we were ok. Will never return to this condominium."

Porto Ottiolu Resort ★★★
"Very disappointed with the welcome. No Wi-Fi or television connection, beware of exceeding your data allowance. I paid an extra €168 for towel service. The pool was very dirty, and work started at 7:30 am. Bring all your own food and cleaning supplies for a week in this accommodation. No breakfast, lunch, or dinner is included in the rental. Otherwise, the location is good."
