Monastery Boutique Hotel Budapest

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Monastery Boutique Hotel Budapest. The location is excellent, with easy access to the city centre and public transportation. The hotel itself is nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, I had one serious concern regarding privacy and the check-out procedure. On the morning of my check-out, at around 10:00 a.m., someone knocked on my door. I asked who it was, but there was no response. Shortly afterwards, the person used a key card to open the door while I was still inside the room. I found this very inappropriate and uncomfortable, especially since the check-out time was not until 11:00 a.m. I later contacted the hotel regarding this issue, and the Front Office Manager responded promptly and professionally, sincerely apologizing and explaining that the matter would be shared with the relevant teams and that the procedures would be reviewed. Aside from this incident, I had a good overall experience with the hotel and would consider staying here again. I hope the hotel can ensure that similar incidents do not happen to other guests in the future.

There is some dirts on the sheet. Except for that, everything is good. Most of the staff at the hotel are very helpful.

The room was clean and spacious and the hotel itself was a lovely space and unique. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location in the Buda section of the city was very convenient for picking up the tram and walking along to see the Parliament building across the Danube at night or day. Very close to Buda Castle as well. The breakfast was good.

Beautiful monastery/hotel. Room is clean and has everything we need, including air-con, which is a big plus during heat wave. Free parking is available.
