Folkestone Inn

Excellent, comfortable and homelike place to stay near Bryson City. The location is excellent and very close to Bryson city, two national parks entrances and a short drive to the ****** and a nice walkable city(Sylva). The room was very comfortable and the bed was amazing as well. We loved the breakfast and it was different each of the 3 days we stayed. Afternoon cookies and tea were a nice treat to look forward too as well. There is a very sweet and affectionate cat named Cherry that lives at the inn(outdoors) that loves to be pet. Lots of chickens live at the Deviled Egg Inn on the property and supply the delicious eggs for breakfast. There is a farm right next door that has horses and cows which are beautiful to watch from the porch or through the window as you eat breakfast. There is also a small “game room” with a ton of board games and also plenty of books throughout the inn for a quick read. It was a great experience and would definitely come back again.

We will be back!! An amazing and relaxing stay, as always, at the Folkestone Inn! This is our third time at the Inn. The cleanliness, grounds, and breakfast are the best attributes of this Quaint and beautiful inn! The owners are so kind and there are so many wonderful things to do just a couple of miles away. This Inn is within a few miles of the smoky mountains national forest and the great smoky mountain railway! The food is delicious in the rooms are precious!!

B&B in a Country Setting Folkestone Inn is a wonderful B&B in a country setting and serves creative breakfasts - including fresh eggs from their own chickens! Toni and Scott are terrific hosts - very knowledgeable about the area and eager to point out things to do and places to see - giving tips about what's good or what might be better. Scott and Toni (both professional chefs) supplied a list of recommended area restaurants, as well. The other guests were from around the world and we loved getting to know them. The house was very clean with a rustic décor. All the best of a B&B vacation. Would definitely return if we visited the area again. One caution - there are steps to and inside the house.

Our stay was very relaxing. Scott was very friendly and an exceptional cook. His meals were absolutely delicious. The bed was super comfy and we really enjoyed having our coffee by the faux fireplace in our room. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by rolling hills and wildlife. The house is five minutes from downtown and five minutes from The Great Smoky Mountains National Park with lots of trails and waterfalls. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing getaway.

This trip was an amazing experience the food was fresh and delicious. The bed gave me the best sleep I've had away from home. The rim and attached patio was amazing and the claw foot tub was very nice as well. This place is beautiful and we will definitely be back!

Thge most peaceful and tranquil accomodation we have ever stayed in. It was a joy to overnight here with Toni and Scott and enjoy the warmth of their Inn and the delicious homecooked breakfasts. Ideal location to hike the nearby trails (e.g. Deep Creek) and enjoy some scenic drives (and maybe even see a bear). Hearing the cocks crowing at sunrise each morning was a lovely experience.
