A very good place to stay in the lovely wine village Bruttig-Fankel by the river the Moselle. Swift check-in and friendly owners (mother and son). Large rooms. I had one with a small balcony. Good bed, WiFi is just soso. Very good breakfast buffet. I recommend the soft cheese (kwark) with the spread of Rote Weinbergpfirsichen... Very nearby is a Chinese restaurant and a tank station with a shop. Good location for walks in the vineyards and in the wooded hills. If you ask you receive a Gäste-Ticket for free public transport in the region (bus and train) and they also offer a free shuttle service to pick you up or drop you off at the station of Cochem.
