As a Marriott Gold member, I was expecting a larger room. My room was the smallest one in the hotel - according to the fire map on the back of the door. There was one non-adjustable chair at the desk. With someone seated in that chair - the distance to the TV was the 36" desk! Way to close for viewing! And, my spouse only had the bed to sit on! Asked the front desk for an additional chair and they said they didn't have any! The shower had extensive black mold. Reported it to the front desk & maintenance arrived shortly after. However, instead of removing the moldy caulk, and killing the mold with bleach, he opted to just caulk over the mold. By the end of our 5 day stay, the mold was already re-appearing through the new caulk. Housekeeping replaced sheets and towels daily, but regularly failed to re-supply TP, and didn't clean the toilet any time during our stay. There was a good-sized pool that was well-maintained, though we didn't use it. In the evening, the pool patio was filled with people smoking! Breakfast was great! Everything was sanitized and wrapped to prevent passage of germs! There were individually wrapped breakfast burritos and sausage patties in the hot plate for those looking for grab and go. The breakfast attendant made eggs to order - scrambled, omelets, etc. with a variety of ingredients from bacon to veggies - and also provided hash browns. There were 2 waffle machines, a variety of cold cereals, 2 kinds of instant oatmeal, individually wrapped coffee cakes, bread, and bagels, a variety of fresh fruit, juices, milk and yogurt, and individually packaged peeled hard-boiled eggs. The most complete breakfast offering we've ever seen at a Marriott property!
