Tru by Hilton Milwaukee Brookfield

In an ever-changing market of travelers, this was our first time at a "Tru" -- it sports what I would call a vibe of being HiP - from the bright colors and cartoon like walls in the lobby to the minimalist but comfortable rooms-- it feels a bit like a youth hostel. However it has the standards breakfast coffee free gym. No pool however the lobby sports a full sized pool table! The room was clean and really loved the soaps in big dispensers!!! All in all pretty darn good 😊

Nice hotel located in a shopping mall area w/ lots of restaurants. Hotel areas were nicely cleaned, rooms are large and spacious, staff was relatively friendly. Bathrooms were bright and spacious with nice-smelling shampoo & body wash. Breakfast was expanded more than normal, lots of options (pancake bar, 2 egg options, sausage Patty, dairy options, muffins)! Would go again!

I stayed one night on business. Everything was great here relative to the price! Room, facilities, and fitness center were clean. Easy access from highway. The lobby with the pool table was very nice. The breakfast was normal for a hotel, and the service was great. Exactly what I expected from Hilton at the low price point.

This place has such beautiful accommodations to make you feel welcomed and safe. The breakfast was perfect. There was a pancake maker and those pancakes were so delicious. The rooms are so clean and the beds were so comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. I would stay here again every time I traveled to Milwaukee.

First time staying at a Tru by Hilton, and we loved it! We mostly needed a place for one night since we were just in Milwaukee visiting friends. But the location was great and close to the freeway and easy to find. I was a little skeptical of the hard wood floors, but they were not bad. It made the room a little echo-y, but it wasn't terrible (and I get why the wood floors, much easier for cleaning). The Bathroom was HUGE and I loved that it came with built in shampoo, conditioner, body wash in the shower and hand soap and lotion by the sink! The beds were true Queen size (not that smaller size places pawn off as a "queen"). The under bed storage was a smart design, and the simplicity of room was a nice refreshing take on décor. We will totally book a Tru again for traveling (or a Home2Suites if we have a longer stay). The only down side was breakfast ended at 9am, and we almost missed it. Oh, and I believe I found 24 (yes 24) Electrical sockets in the room along with 4 USB plug ins by the TV. It was nice to not have to hunt around for a socket!

We stayed at the Tru in Madison the night before after never having been in one. Cool vibe…. I guess the only downside is not much selection of wine and snacks in the lobby and the shampoo was out in the shower. Other than that really good. Would stay again.

Alexander was so helpful and treated my chihuahua and I like we were friends. I loved the room and all the games to play on the main floor. Looking forward to seeing Alexander again when we visit!! I never leave reviews but he deserves to be recognized!!
