The location is close to the city center. There is a parking space downstairs. Although the facilities are relatively old, they are still clean. I stayed in a 5-person room. I could see the endless sea view in the morning. The staff was polite and very talkative

the location is great - near the sea! The weather was great, so we are satisfied. We did not expect more amenities from the hotel, because everything was appropriate for the old city. The owner of the hotel was friendly, even allowed to leave things until the evening. we recommend!

BOOK AT OWN RISK! Absolutely atrocious, scam venue. I booked online due to illness, needed to cancel. This venue took my money, ignored my emails, doesn't answer any of the numbers listed online. Downright refused to refund me even though the only reason we couldn't stay is because they wouldn't allow a late check in. They were rude, obnoxious, and clearly don't care about customer service. Do NOT book here. Should anything go wrong, they will keep your money with a smile on their faces, and never speak to you again. AVOID!

We had to cancel our booking due to covid. Unfortunately we were unable to secure a refund due to the establishments no refund policy. We are unable to comment on the facilities at this location for the reason mentioned. We're frequent visitors to Brighton and the location is OK, probably a 10 minute walk to the 'centre' of town.

Erm. Only thing I can say is refunded without issue when complained. Out of pocket now as charged premium for last min booking. Room was as bad as I’ve ever been in. Curtains wouldn’t close , lots of damp , sash windows - quite now this was available I don’t know. Pics are 100%.

Myself and two friends have returned from a two night stay at The Marine View. The location was perfect, our rooms were great and the host was friendly and welcoming. Good cafe for breakfast round the corner in St James Street. Will return when next in Brighton.

I have been before and I will definitely come again. For me it is ideal. Excellent for an individual or couple. Friendly welcome. Everything very clean. Excellent location, close to beach and to bus stops. Breakfast not available at the moment but there are cafes nearby on St James' Street. Anyone with particular requirements, such as parking, anxieties about stairs or facilities for children, should ring first to ask, to avoid being disappointed on arrival.
