I'm writing this review a year late, but I'm writing it to alert people to the Choice Hotels points scam more than anything else. We stayed here to split a long drive home into two days, so we were there just to sleep and nothing else. We were awake well past 2:00 in the morning with a party happening across the hall. Several complaints were made, one person was switching to a different room... I finally left our room to ask the front desk what could be done as the people across the hall were insanely loud. Their answer was basically, "nothing." Because "nothing" was not acceptable, I asked for the local police phone number and called them. They showed up and quieted the people down across the hall. What's interesting is that the people who were causing all the problems for others weren't so much as slapped on the wrist. They were disturbing the sleep of a whole wing of paying guests, but were permitted to keep making noise until I called the police because the hotel would do nothing about it. After we got home, I contacted Choice Hotels about the issue and they gave me 9,000 points as a gesture of apology and told me that I could book our next 1-2 rooms with those points! Wow! I was elated! What a generous offer! Well fast forward to today and while looking for rooms that fit the 9,000 point category for our upcoming trip, all I'm finding are the 2 star hotels! The rooms that are around 3 stars and up are in the 20,000+ point category!! So I thought, okay, that's fine, I'll just apply the points I have and pay for the rest with cash. Well, no, that won't work either. You need to have all 20,000+ points or you can't book. Okay, so let's see how much money I can buy points for. There's a sale! Wooo! So I select 16,000 points and it figures the total plus 25% off, and get this – it costs MORE MONEY to buy the points I need to be able to use the 9,000 points that were given to me, than it does to just book the room without any points at all!! So that means, if I bought 16,000 points and added my free 9,000 points so I could book a 3-4 star hotel room, I'd pay upwards of $125 (note: the regular price for those points without the sale is $165) for a room that is advertised at only $105! What an absolute scam! I used to love staying at Comfort Inn's because they always seemed so reliable from state to state and affordable, but after this experience I'll be looking elsewhere. So about the actual room. It was small. It smelled bad. The beds had a plastic mattress cover which meant that we were sweating without so much as a sheet on. The AC left the room exceptionally humid and wet. And of course the noise. The breakfast was standard, nothing exceptional. All this would have been passed off as a lesson learned had it not been for the noise that kept us from sleeping before driving the rest of the way home the next day. I would not recommend staying at this location. By the way, I've never asked a hotel/motel for anything in return for a bad room before

I checked in at 8pm for and early morning medical appt after driving 3.5 hours. I never received a phone call regarding my reservation. Instead, when I arrived the the desk clerk informed me the elevator did not work and I could find another hotel if I wished. (Again it was 8pm and I was from out of the area.) I had no choice but to climb 4 flights of stairs with my luggage and CPAP machine in order to get the sleep I needed before my appt. No one offered to bring my bags up, they refused to provide a discount for not having the amenities listed for this hotel and when I called down to the desk for extra pillows the girl who answered was very rude and hung up on me, when I called back she was like “come down, checkout and I’ll give you your money back. No guest service here! No problem solving skills just a girl who collects a check. I had always heard this chain was excellent and we booked it because of the beautiful pool. I am very disappointed and highly disgusted. Access to their rooms is not provided for people with medical disabilities due to the elevator not working.

Stay somewhere else. We arrived into town late and was the only place with an opening. I thought it couldn't be that bad..... TINY room, only cereal for breakfast, coffee tasted like lightly flavored water. Pictures does NOT look anything like it!

location was excellent for my needs. clean, comfortable facility ... good breakfast. friendly, helpful staff. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe in the location. convenient to a grocery store and restaurants.

This place is just okay. Not much more to say. Breakfast consumables left a lot to be desired. I had to ask for decaf coffee on the breakfast bar. Probably would look for other accommodations when traveling in the future.

While at this hotel, the hotel lost power for several hours. The local utility and fire department showed up at the property. They indicated the problem was with the hotel. We could not locate any hotel staff after waiting at the front desk with several other guests. We ended up leaving because we have family members that require medical equipment over night. When I called their corporate customer service the next day I was told so would not be charged. I now have a charge. When I contacted the hotel directly I was interrupted before finishing my sentence and told that no guest that stayed that night will get a refund, when I asked for the manager I was told that she won’t be in for a week and she will tell me the same thing and other guests have received a $30 credit. This is beyond unacceptable. Electricity is a basic service expected to be provided at a hotel. This hotel has zero concerns for addressing their short comings.

The staff was rude and wasn’t fully aware of what they were doing he had to call to ask questions my card was charged twice once at check out then again a few days later then my brother and his family had to move to a king room that wasn’t equipped for his family

Very good location close to downtown Nashville, Quiet location, easy access to the Highway, Close to everything in a very safe area plenty of parking very good Curb appeal and very friendly employees and front desk agent

The hotel is dated and has a musty air freshaner smell. The room cards worked inconsistently-one not at all. The room was fine and clean. Thankfully. The toilet was running constantly. The breakfast provided was pretty awful. Greasy, not laid out in an appetizing way. Bread was stale. Only fruit offered were apples and they were old. All in all unappetizing for hungry travelers. Desk staff were polite.
