Hotel Weißes Kreuz

Das Hotel hat für uns den schönen Rahmen um einen Aufführung auf der Seebühne gegeben. Viel Platz, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtete, klassische Vier Sterne eines Tradtionshauses mit einsprechen gediegenen Ambiente. Gut gelegen, so dass man in gut 10 Minuten zu Fuß in der Oper ist. Parken kann man im öffentlichen Parkhaus, direkt gegenüber des Hotels. Wer die hohen Kurse zur Opernsaison verschmerzen kann, ist um Weißen Kreuz in Bregenz gut aufgehoben. (gefrühstückt haben wir auswärts)

Wir waren das erste mal in diesem Hotel für die Festspiele. Unser Eindruck war auch in diesem Hotel in Bregenz: während der Festspiel Zeit können sich die Hotels in Bregenz fast alles erlauben, sie werden so oder so gebucht. Das Zimmer war im 4ten Stock. Leider hat es überall Teppich. Die Möbel im Zimmer sahen „verlebt“ aus und erinnerten an die 80er Jahre. Einige Details im Zimmer sahen zudem nicht sehr gepflegt aus: Fugen im Badezimmer, Seifenspender defekt,... Unser Zimmer war sehr ringhörig. Wir hörten jeden Schritt von oben und Geräusche aus den Nachbarzimmer. Das Frühstück war ok. Zu loben ist die Auswahl an frischen Früchten. Der Rest ist klassisch. Das Check out war dann sehr herzlich und nett. So für eine Nacht ist das Hotel für uns ok.

Sehr gemütliches und sympathisches kleines Hotel in einem alten Gebäude. Befindet sich in einer sehr gute Lage. Um zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu gelangen, brauchten wir kein Transportmittel. Man kann gut zu Fuß in die Altstadt, in die Seepromenade bis auch in die Pfänderbahn. Zimmer war echt schön, sauber und relativ groß. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend und beim schönen Wetter besteht die Möglichkeit auf der Innenhofterrasse zu sitzen. Das Personal in alle Bereiche war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

The rooms are well-kept, large, bright, spacious and clean, it is in an excellent central position for us who were traveling by bike, breakfast without a huge choice but excellent products, friendly staff.

The hotel is very centrally located in Bregenz. It takes 5 minutes to get to the city center, 10 minutes to Lake Constance and 15 to 20 minutes to the lake stage. There are delicious restaurants nearby and the hotel has a very good bar - the Kreuzbar. Very good value for money for cocktails and gins. There is parking around 2 minutes away in the GWL parking garage. Each day costs 15 euros through the hotel. Booking went really well. The reception was very warm and friendly. Everything was explained and where to find everything. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right during the festival season - but we were aware of that when staying in a hotel in Bregenz during the festival season. Otherwise, the room prices are OK. Our room was not ready and we were given another one without saying anything. The rooms are nice and spacious. Very clean, the wooden floor creaks nicely, there is also a kettle in the room. The disadvantage is that you can hear a lot of what is being said in the hallway. The hallway is carpeted so you are rarely disturbed by suitcases. You can hardly hear the conversations from the hallway in the room. The bathroom was very clean and very small, there is enough room for one person. The bed was very comfortable. The furnishings were fine and matched the charm of the hotel. The windows could be opened completely. The breakfast was very tasty, we were given a tiered stand and were able to get other things from the buffet. Personally, we missed bread and couldn't find it. All in all, a nice city hotel that has charm.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are very well equipped. I would normally come back anytime. However, I would like to sleep a little longer on vacation. Unfortunately, this is prevented by the bike rental in the courtyard. They start cleaning the bikes with a high-pressure cleaner in the morning. In some cases, this took more than 30 minutes. It's a shame because the location and facilities of the hotel, in combination with the staff, are really great.
