wir waren in der Wanderferien und das Hotel Engel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Schöne Zimmer zur Alleinbenutzung und das Essen sehr gut. Das Personal ist nett und freundlich als ob man Stammgast wäre. Wir können den Engel nur weiter empfehlen und sind sicher nicht das letzte mal da. Danke

We stayed at this hotel for a weeks skiing trip. The hotel is situated about a mile from the gondala but a free ski bus stops outside the hotel and runs every 15mins. There is a ski hire shop across the road from the hotel. At the lift station it is possible to hire a locker to store skis which cost 1.50 euro per day. We stayed on half board, the breakfast and evening meal were very good. Each morning a menu was offered with about 4 main choices, we found it necessary to search out the lady who ran the hotel to translate for us. Everything in the hotel was in German as this part of Austria does not seem to see many Brits. The evening meal was usually 5 courses including a soup course and salad course. We used the swimming pool which was a short walk to Engel Apartments, nice sized pool but not that warm. Downstairs in the hotel was a sauna, table tennis room and boot room - watch out for the Germans taking your boots of the warmers if there is not enough too go round. The beer in the hotel was good and very reasonable at 3.20euros for 0.5L, one reason why we prefer AUSTRIAN SKI RESORTS TO FRENCH ONES. The room was comfortable with a balcony but not much in the way of views.

het was een mooi hotel, beetje een oude sfeer, met een grote sierlijke wenteltrap. Beetje chic. Bij het ontbijt was veel keus uit beleg en broodjes, yoghurt, muesli enz. Het avondeten vond ik minder, dat was niet zo lekker. Ik ben vegetarisch en dat had ik aangegeven, en ze maakte snel iets anders voor me klaar, heel aardig. Ik was er naar toe geweest met school, skivakantie, erg leuke ervaring

We waren hier met een groep van 50p.Zeer vriendelijk onthaal van de familie Rögelbock.Menukeuze was prima.Zeer mooie en grote kamers.In het centrum van Mellau.Ideaal voor wandelingen,uitstappen.Vriendelijk personeel.Wanneer je voor meerdere dagen verblijft krijgt de Bregenzerwaldkaart.Met deze kaart kan je gratis gebruik maken van de liften en lijnbussen in de omgeving.Mellau ligt op nog geen uur rijden van de Bodensee.

Leider versprechen die Bewertungen deutlich mehr als gehalten wird Es herrscht in Teilbereichen ein Investitionsstau Personal bemüht Mängel auszugleichen Alles wird sehr eng gesehen So sollten wir bei der Abreise 15 Uhr noch 10€ pro Person für eine bereitgestellte jause zahlen Getränk selbstverständlich extra

Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Das Essen war sehr gut, wertig und gute Portionen. Zimmer geräumig und sauber , Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist mitten im Ortskern, Skibus fährt direkt davor ab. Der Skiraum hat gute Lagermöglichkeiten für Ski und Wärmvorrichtungen für Skischuhe. Man kann über einen extra Ausgang von dort direkt zum Skibus laufen (30 Meter).

Wir hatten ein DZ Superior gebucht, schön renoviert mit Holzfußboden und großem Balkon. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, dass das Bad mit einer Glastür vom Zimmer abgetrennt war und die Matratze relativ hart. Frühstück super, Halbpension mit 5 Gängen sehr gut und reichhaltig. Zur Seilbahn kommt man alle 15min mit dem Skibus oder in 10min zu Fuß. Gut wäre, wenn das Frühstück am Wochenende schon um 7 beginnen würde, wenn man die erste Gondel um 8 nehmen möchte. Wir waren auf jeden Fall sehr zufrieden und kommen wieder!
