The Wellington

Went here for food on a whim and was not disappointed. The food was gorgeous, I am gluten intolerant and they had a full menu and three different deserts to choose from. Everything was beautifully cooked and I wanted to order three more of my lemon tarts to take home

What a fab hotel from the minute I walked in i felt a great homely vibe about the place the front of house staff where lovely. Room was great and location is central to all the amenities. Parking is only a short walk from the back of the hotel and is 10pound for 24hours which i thought was quite was very reasonable. Breakfast was fantastic hats of to the chef my 3 poached eggs where perfect and special mention to Roberto for an excellent service at breakfast and a lovely chat about life. I will definitely be coming back in Spring keep up the great work guys.

We got married in an intimate ceremony at the Wellington Hotel in Brecon - it was absolutely perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make the day beautiful and memorable. We felt so well taken care of and so much thought and kindness was shown by the staff, particularly Cath and Codi, both of whom went above and beyond. They showed so much effort and enthusiasm for helping us create the perfect day, it was so appreciated. It was exactly what we hoped it would be and we are so grateful. Thank you so much!

We were very pleased with our stay. We were in a disabled room and this was on the ground floor and easily accessible. The room was large and the TV worked fine. The tea and coffee was fine however it was difficult to fill the jug from the bathroom sink and had to use a cup and make several trips. The garden outside our room was lovely and well tended. The bar and restaurant had a lot of variety and reasonably priced. The only things we brought up with the staff was the WiFi was open and not password protected, when you put your VPN on for protection, the WiFi would not work. The staff member I initially raised this with was a little dismissive, but staff on checkout were a little more receptive. The bathroom also had a small mould issue and we suggested a squeegee might be a remedy as the drainage was not quick. Well situated in the centre of town, close to the bus station.

Recentely went here for a meal with my mum the service was fantastic and the food was amazing will definitely visit again.

Very easy to find, staff very firendly and tehe check in simple. Rooms pleasant, internet very good through out. It has a bar and restaraunt, surprixing not noisy at all, even for a Friday night, and good sleep was enjoyed.

Had a tasty meal here today. It took a long time to order though. We were there about 3pm so most roast dinners were sold out. So we ordered and were told that there was no roast / side dishes were available. 3 minutes after a lovely staff member came and said there was some left. I had a trio of meat but not all of the things were on the plate like stuffing and crackling, but still needed to pay full price. Also not all alcohol drinks were available so unfortunately had a soft drink. But with that being said it was very tasty.

A great value, warm welcome here on a miserable night. The bar area had a roaring fire which was lovely. The room was lovely and clean, perhaps some elements a little dated but did what it should. Woke up and had a lovely cooked breakfast and a well stocked buffet, again, super friendly staff. Would definitely come again, thank you

Visited the bar only. Brains SA ale was good but the wine my wife had was below average and for a Sauvignon Blanc I was not given a choice of Chilean or New Zealand. So house wine it had to be. The table we sat at was very sticky.
