Hit the pass button on this place! We stayed here before through an VRBO and the 3 bed room was ver nice. This time booked through the resort and it was terrible! Stepping off the elevator the carpet was nasty and the floor smelled. Enter the room and it had the nastiest carpet I have ever seen! Wouldn’t take out shoes off and kids weren’t allowed on floor. Unit musty and smoky. It had not been update in the 30 years the property has been there. It was dark, dated and depressing. The furniture was old and gross and there was 0 effort in updating anything. No service unless you pay a nightly fee of $25 to get trash picked up. The dirt lot was “closed for the summer” even though people were parking there so they forced you into the parking garage and fee. No prices on anything in the “market”. A can of beer is $13-$15 each so more than a premium craft cocktail at a restaurant. They did not email a folio as stated and have yet to get an itemized receipt. The only nice part of this place is the pool/movie room/fitness facility. If you book from an individual owner and can see the accommodations you are likely to have a much more enjoyable stay. Walking to Main Street was easy and quick! For the price we paid (over $300/night) in off season we were appalled!

I have stayed several times in Breckenridge and enjoyed this hotel very much. I did my research and found The Lift Side Suites at The Village at Breckenridge. I booked a deluxe suite in the Lift Side. The Village at Breckenridge has five buildings, from a hotel room to 3 bedroom in the Chateaux. All are located in the center of town and within walking distance to what ever you need. As you can see by the pictures my room looked over the Peak 9 ski lift. This was ski season and all the rooms are very close, 50 yards, to the lift, mostly ski-in ski-out. There were no restaurants on site, with exception to a bar in the hotel building. Although many are very close by. My suites was individually owned so it had a special touch. Very well decorated. I can highly recommend The Village at Breckenridge and the Lift Side suites. Email me if you have any questions and for more pictures.

My wife and I often visit Breckenridge and have stayed in several hotels. This time we went with friends and needed three bedrooms. A great hotel is the Chateaux at the Village at Breckenridge. Located at the Base of Peak 8, its a ski in ski out. The Chateaux building stands alone. It does not have a lobby or resturaunt. Thats ok for what is does have. Great rooms very spacious. Wood burning fire place, and a balcony. We booked a three bedroom which would have slept 8, or 6 privately. Each had its own bathroom and one common bath. The view looked out to the ski lift. There is a underground parking garage, good for a mini-van or smaller. Which takes you right to your floor, no going outside. In the main building next door is the pool. Half indoor half outdoor. Two hottubs. A game room and free internet access. The Chateaux is part of a three building complex. Its does have a bar/pub in one building. If you are looking for ski-in-ski-out in the heart of Breckenridge. The Village is a great location. I cant think of any negatives to the hotel.

We stayed in room 5307.....went into the bathroom to see that the ceiling and top part of the walls were covered in black mold! We were too tired (arrived after midnight) to call the manager so we just closed the door and went to bed. We spoke with the front desk the next morning asking to be moved, then we left to ski. When we came back we saw that they had wiped the mold off (room should have been shut down in my opinion as a health hazzard). They moved us to another room that was filthy...coffee stains on the table, half filled shampoo bottles, hair in the bed and in the bathroom. Just gave up. We were too tired to complain. We found we had left our phone charger in the old room so we called the front desk...they had already rented the moldy room out! Other reviews had mentioned that they had a group of people staying at the hotel, some had good rooms, some had bad ones. I would concur. The first room was the pits, the second one was nice but filthy. Housekeeping needs to be fixed. I loved the location; if you went out one side of the building you were a short walk to the slopes, if you walked out the other door you were right in town. Sad the place was so horrible. If it was clean I would stay there again but it is just not worth it....gross!

Stayed at this hotel just for the weekend due to RIVERRAFTING deal. When arriving at the hotel, it was already SNOWING. There weren't many people around the town. It felt like a ghost town for a bit. Seems like everyone was hiding in the local bars. The hotel room itself is ok. I had a double room. The bathroom was a joke. When you sit on the toilet seat, your right hip touches the toilet paper rack. At one time, it took awhile for the water temp to heat up. The tv was nice. It was a 42" LG lcd screen tv. There were no food amenities in the hotel itself, so if you got hungry at night, good luck, you will have to wait til the morning to eat. Beds were sorta hard too and the pillows weren't that comfy. Location of hotel is good because its right next to ski lift areas. But if you can stay somewhere else with better amenities, do it.

If you like your sleep, DO NOT come here! We stayed in room 412 from 10/5-10/9. So 4 nights. We arrived Saturday evening. On Sunday at 8 am, we were woken up by housekeeping talking a lot outside our room. Fine, we got up and did our thing. We come back late and saw that our room wasn’t cleaned. Front desk (via texting) sent housekeeping to bring us towels. That’s when she said she had no time to clean our suite because they had a big wig coming and they had to clean their space. But, she said, that we will be the first room they clean tomorrow morning. On Monday, around 7 am, the smoke alarm low battery went off. We got up because housekeeping said they planned on cleaning our room early (I had mistakenly assumed it would be at 8 am because they started Sunday at 8 am.) The handyman came and replaced batteries. On Tuesday, at 4 AM, the smoke alarm went off again!!! Or so we thought. We called front desk and since there’s no handyman on duty at that god awful hour, he said to remove smoke alarm and put it outside door and he will pick it up. We removed the smoke alarm but kept hearing it in our room. BUT, this was ANOTHER smoke alarm with low batteries! And it was this second one going off for low battery! We removed that one too. I don’t know the Colorado fire code policy for smoke alarms in rooms but they never replaced it for the remainder of our stay. Also, housekeeping just made our bed and gave us towels. They never emptied our trash, which had food in it. That’s gross! I complained to front desk Tuesday late morning about what happened and asked to speak to the manager. There is no manager on property. They texted that they’ll waive the parking fees. I texted back that a manager should call me. They never responded. The front desk folks are nice but this is an extremely unprofessional hotel. They should have a policy of checking smoke alarms before the guests have to find out at 4 am. And they should have a policy that housekeeping should not disturb guests so early on a Sunday. But, I never had a chance to talk to a manager because they never called me. Our trip was exhausting to say the least. It’s sad that this hotel will take your money but not keep the rooms in good condition.

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and one room looked out over a bank of of air conditioners and the other was within arms length hotel air handler. No one goes to the mountains and expects that kind of view. Not having a mountain view, fine, being able to reach out the window and touch the air handler, unacceptable. Our room (204) should not be rented. At the very least it should come with a warning and a discount. As, frankly, should all the rooms that are on the back L of the building. They all overlook what amounts to an industrial site, which for a mountain experience, is never the dream. We came from the city to escape the city and were met with an industrial experience that was much worse than the city. Everyone who worked at the hotel was perfectly nice. But to rent 2 rooms for 2 nights as a vacation escape from the city and be given rooms that were terrible was really insulting and nothing was done to try and ameliorate that bad will. Whoever designed this hotel and whoever decided that those rooms were rent quality should be fired. An atrocious experience.

Very convenient location. Just a block away from Main Street. The ski lift is right next door; we are going to return to this location in the winter. We rented from the owner through Airbnb. Pictures matched exactly with the condo. The place we rented was great. A very comfortable 2-bedroom / 2-bath condominium with a well equipped kitchen. Beds and linens were comfortable. Pool and hot tubs were awesome.

I came here for an event, Originally I had booked through the discount of the event Which still turned out to be double what the normal rooms were. Luckily, I ended up finding an Airbnb, being that these rooms are all owned by owners. Can’t really blame the owner, but the laundry was quite expensive and we had to go to the front desk to buy laundry detergent. The lady at the front desk had an attitude and even rolled her eyes, Not sure how hard it is to grab a few boxes of tide from the back room. It was also strange that the cleaning cart had these boxes on it, coincidentally not in our room? Don’t think I’ve ever paid more than $.75 for a box of detergent for one use and this was just over three dollars each. If I had to review different amenities and our host. The place is great, But apparently, we can’t speak the same for the service.
