"The only point to consider, which is not the fault of the hotel, are the high values charged by taxi drivers in the end of the year to go from the hotel to the beach, about 300/400 Mexican pesos, 17-22 dollars."

"The room design is very high-end, and it feels like a renovated hotel. The swimming pool is beautiful and deep, making it more suitable for adults to swim and play. The corridors of the hotel are relatively old, and there is no elevator up and down. If you have large and heavy luggage, it will be a bit difficult. You can ask the hotel to provide a hotel on the underground floor, which will be more convenient. In addition, it is a little noisy at night because it is close to the bar, but I can still accept it.
Overall, a good place for a good price."

"Casa Ganesh was an amazing place to stay.
First of all the room was super clean and cozy.
The hotel has a very convenient location: all shops, bars, restaurants, quick shops, pharmacy is 2-15 min walking distance.
Karla was a very professional, polite, and friendly host.
She makes everything easy and fast 👌 It’s like “you don’t have to wait for a fresh towl for 30 min” 😁
There is a fresh coffee every morning 😍 It’s nice to have a cup and go to the beach and drink it.
I love it! I would definitely stay again!"

"Room type selection: (There is a giant pit here, it is recommended to avoid the pit)
We booked a ”sea breeze room” and told us that we had upgraded our room type when we checked in.
We waited for us to check in and found that we had transferred to the ”pool room”
The difference between the two is that the sea breeze room is located in the second row of the hotel's seaside, you can have your own terrace but not against the sea, you can feel the sea breeze
The pool room is actually a jungle room with a pool, and you can't feel the sea breeze at all.
After coordination, we finally gave us the sea breeze we wanted. It turned out that the ”sea breeze room” was oversold that day, and it was upgraded to the ”seaside room” for free.
But it's really noisy! It's noisy to sleep at all
Because it is made of tent materials, the sea breeze is blowing at night, and it is not soundproof at all, and the sound of the waves beating the reef is no longer the level of white noise.
It is the kind that requires earplugs to sleep. Don't listen to the free upgrade of the hotel. ”Sea Wind Room” is the only recommended choice.
Mosquitoes:
It's the kind of thing that you can get bitten on your legs as soon as you go out.
Remember to spray mosquito water before going out
No matter how close the road is,
The beach in this house is almost impossible to walk up, because it is not cleaned, so the smell is still very serious
This wild luxury is still mainly ”wild”, bathing needs to be in the open air, this feeling is OK, water heat is very important"

"The hotel staff are very nice. The room is very big and has a high floor and is very clean!
At the same time, free water is provided to guests. What can be improved is that the coffee table in the room is a big piece of wood, which is too heavy to move around. The design of the room and the hotel is not practical, but it is very beautiful😆."

Great
GGuest UserA Haven of Tranquillity
The most wonderful place to stay. Everything was super amazing. Location is great, inbetween the beach and Main Street, hire a bike, makes it easier. Built around trees and an open central space, oozes peacefulness. The Kasa & bedrooms are beautifully designed, huge bed, lovely shower, coffee machine & super comfy. Pool/rooftop bar & food with loungers. A great breakfast too. Last but not least, the staff were wonderful, especially Omar. Could not recommend enough. 😁
GGuest UserStunning rooms! The place is bang on the middle of the jungle, so there are bugs and frogs etc, just be aware of that.
Right next to a cenote! It’s on a motorway and you cannot really walk anywhere so you need a car or moped etc, as it is pretty far.
Theee is a small jacuzzis and a sauna, which they try to charge a prohibitively high price for…. Considering it is the only amenity the hotel has this should be free.
Bedsheets need an update. Have stains and rips.
I still think it is an amazing place to stay especially for the price!
GGuest UserHad a great time, has a little gym which was a nice surprise, and a little kids play area on the beach. Service was excellent, highly recommend Wiliam our server at breakfast
TT_DIncredible place, sophisticated architecture and exceptional service! We went with God's children and had a very pleasant time, they loved it! The only downside is the extra costs for food and drinks, which are quite high!
GGeorge CyprusVery nice small hotel at the start of the beach street. Can grab a taxi from centro to get there for about 300mxn. If you dont mind walking then its easy to just walk along the tulum beach street to reach any restaurant or beach club. The room was very nice with an outdoor shower and bath although the wooden floor there was rusty with nails pointing out which was as dangerous so that has to be fixed. Reception was very helpful and even gave us recommendations for restaurants and events for the night. They have their own beach access and loungers so its very convenient as its right on the beach. Breakfast was advertised and its a light yoghurt with little bit of granola and fruits with filter coffee and juice and two pieces of toast for two people. Breakfast has room for improvement in my opinion. Overall good experience for the price. No coffee machine in the room although it is shown in the listing images, usually hotels include those for free. There was some camping right next to the hotel which seemed weird, not sure what that was as it also had access to the hotel through stairs connected to the hotel.
VVugarWhen i made reservations trip.com charged while reservation.
When i checked in they asked for credit card deposit and they blocked approximately 600 usd .After hours again they charged full payment which i was paid to Trip.com already .when i called them they told me they did the recieved payment from trip.com.
So after some hour they called said sorry we did wrong while you check out we will return money.
It is about 1 week i am still waiting money to be returned to my credit card which was charged without my permission.By the way they wasn’t blocked anount they just charged 3700$ .About the rooms i never suggested bungoliw tents.insects everywhere ….
GGuest UserWe had an overall wonderful experience for our 7 days spent at Hotelito Azul! We went with another couple and each stayed in the Oceanfront Suites (we were above them, they were ground level). The rooms were clean and spacious. Somewhat limited storage for clothes but we made the best of the shelving/hanging unit provided. The shower is a dream. The maid service cleaned our room daily and did a wonderful job! We loved the treats left on our pillows each day. AC was yours to control. One challenge we faced that would have a simple fix was the lack of rugs in the room. You’re walking through sand to get to your room and yes, there’s a bucket of water to rinse before entering however we were desperate for a small outdoor rug or just something at either the sides or foot of the bed to brush off sand before getting in bed. Interestingly, our friends downstairs had an awesome runner at the foot of their bed so maybe just consistency with that would make a huge difference! You wake to a cute basket with coffee each morning and they will refill your drinking water as much as you need it in the room. We can’t say enough good things about the staff. You communicate to them through What’sApp which offered quick responses to any questions or concerns or when ordering food/drink. Larissa, the concierge was WONDERFUL. She welcomed us every day and made us feel right at home and taken care of during our stay. She helped fill out trip with wonderful experiences whether it be tours, great local spots for food/drink or logistics. We rented scooters from the hotel the majority of our vacation days and it was well worth it. We did find the prices just across the street were cheaper however we liked the convenience of renting through the hotel. The food and drink at the hotel is all delicious, although we quickly learned that eating and drinking on the beach does get expensive, so we chose wisely when/how much we ate at the hotel. This just comes with the location. The physical location of the hotel is ideal because it isn’t too far down into the beach strip, which traffic became pretty bad the further you drove in. The aesthetic and details of the hotel are perfect for making you feel like you’re living in a whimsical jungle. FYI to all looking to stay on the beach in Tulum, during April-November or so, Tulum gets a massive amount of seaweed that makes it nearly impossible to swim in the ocean. The hotels, including Hotelito Azul, do their best to remove as much seaweed from the beach as possible, but man, is it an uphill battle. This limited our ability to sit out on the beach unfortunately, because the only relief from the heat was the outdoor shower. Which, again, is lovely, but not the ocean. Luckily, Tulum has so many other wonderful things to do that we did not feel this impacted our trip in any significant way. Those that travel during the better months have a lovely beachfront area to look forward to at Hotelito Azul. All in all, we loved our stay at this hotel and look forward to returning in the future! Thank you all!
DDidiOur stay at Tago Tulum was simply outstanding! The hotel itself is a paradise – the rooms look even better than in the photos, with spacious layouts, beautiful decor, and that perfect blend of luxury and Tulum’s bohemian style. The beachfront view and peaceful ambiance made it the ideal place to unwind.
What really made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service, especially from Victor. He took care of everything we needed, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. Victor’s warmth and attention to detail made us feel right at home – a true gem! Tago Tulum is a must for anyone visiting Tulum, and we can’t wait to return
SSongxiangruiruiMy favorite hotel!
I also held my wedding here
The hotel is beautiful, and there are two museums that are also beautiful in the same style.
If you also like the original ecology, don’t hesitate to order directly
The scenery is incomparably beautiful, be sure to choose a sea view room
This is a hotel you must visit in your life!
